There are various ways to demonstrate and understand different perspective in local and global context. Expressing your opinion with courage and confidence helps to communicate efficiently and positively. There are literary strategies in common for different genres that are transferable to portray characters in personal and cultural dimension. Subject objectives A,B,C,D A,B,C,D A,B,C,D A,B,C,D ATL Research Thinking (Critical thinking ) Social Content Students will learn to identify language features of poetry, and apply their understanding in writing poems for personal. Students will learn to analyze a piece of art or literature work (image, sound or text). Students will study and identify the structural and language features of argumentative writing, and learn to compose an argumentative writing themselves. Students will study drama work and identify and analyze stylistic features of drama, and apply their understanding in a performance.

They need to organize and depict information logically and write news critics. Students will read the classic Chinese novel "The Three Kingdoms". They will learn to write an informal letter and a speech draft. Students will read different literary works that express one's feeling. They need to work in groups and create their own advertisement to express themselves based on an extract part of a learnt text. Students will learn different descriptive in this unit and they are required to write an essay to describe a beautiful place they have visited.
