4 FOREWORD TheBrazilianSymposiumonFormalMethods(SBMF)2015istheeighteenthofaseriesof eventsdevotedtothedevelopmentdisseminationanduseofformalmethodsforthe constructionofhighequalitycomputationalsystems.itisnowawelleestablishedevent withaninternationalreputation.thefirsteditionoccurredin1998.
