12 Product Summary PinPoint PinPoint The AirLink Pinpoint is a rugged wireless modem with a GPS receiver that provides a scalable cost effective platform for mobile applications. Powered by ALEOS, the AirLink Embedded Operating System (ALEOS), the PinPoint has its own embedded TCP/IP stack which enables transmission of serial data from non-ip devices via either UDP or TCP. The embedded GPS based applications allow the PinPoint to be configured to report its position by time and/or distance. The serial port provides network connectivity for a laptop, POS terminal, PDA, or mobile data terminal. Key Applications/Verticals Public Safety Utilities Transportation Service Delivery 11
13 Product Summary Raven The AirLink Raven is a rugged, intelligent wireless data platform designed to enable real-time, two-way communications with remote assets. The AirLink Embedded Operating System (ALEOS) is the power inside the Raven. ALEOS has its own embedded TCP/IP stack which enables transmission of serial data from non-ip devices. ALEOS enables several functions including remote configuration and diagnostics, packet assembly and disassembly (PAD) for UDP or TCP, and telemetry protocol spoofing and conversion. The Raven is a powerful and versatile communications device. Key Applications/Verticals SCADA/Telemetry Utilities Transportation 12
14 Product Summary Raven-E The Raven-E is a rugged cellular data modem that leverages AirLink s success with RS232 and harnesses the ease of connectivity provided by Ethernet. Like the Raven and PinPoint, the Raven-E is powered by ALEOS, enabling remote configuration, diagnostics, and management. Raven-E is the ideal choice for applications requiring Ethernet connectivity and wireless data access. Gateway Features Always-On Connection DHCP server for local automatic IP assignment Public and Private IP modes for local IP assignment Support for SNMPv2c, SNMPv3 NAT with VPN Passthru Stateful Inspection Firewall Domain name addressable 13
