1 Answer for your Prayers! Special Message Bro. G.P.S. ROBINSON Dearly beloved! prayer is the only way to receive any blessing that we desire from the Lord. There is nothing more powerful than prayer, in this world; there is nothing that cannot be achieved through prayer. How true is the statement of David in Psalm 65:2 which says, O You who hear prayer, To You all flesh will come! In the Holy Bible, we see the saints of God, in both the Old and the New Testaments doing great deeds because of prayer. Yes, even the men of God who have gone to heaven ahead of us did awesome signs and wonders for the glory of God s name, because of the power of their prayer and millions of people have been drawn to Christ through that. You, who read this message, too may believe in the power of prayer life! Look to the Lord in faith Yesu Yesu Santhikirar Santhikirar September September

2 and pray unto Him. Surely there will be answers for your prayers. Why no answer for Prayer? Our Lord is alive even today. Not only that, He listens to each one of our prayers and perfects everything beautiful at its time. Yet, these days, the question, Why God is not answering my prayer? arises in all of us. Our God is not the One who exalts someone and lowers some others; neither does He bless one person and curse the other. On the other hand, when we analyze the reason for our prayers to remain unanswered and set ourselves right, it would be very easy for us to inherit God s blessings. Life that does not heed the Scriptures One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination (Proverbs 28:9). It is true that our Lord hears our prayers. Yet, first of all we must know that He would bless us only on the basis of the Scriptures. Yes, all His blessings are based on the Word and all of them are conditional. First of all you need to read the Word of God and have the ear to listen to His teaching so as to receive His blessings. It cannot be said that a blessing can be received merely by praying for it. If you want to see a miracle in your prayer, you need to have faith, which is very important. The only way to receive this faith is the Word of God. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). It is only the Word of God that brings in us a firm faith on God which cannot be shaken. It is not possible to get answer for our prayer, without obeying the blessed Word of God. The Bible says that such a prayer would be an abomination to God. So, commit your life to listen to His Words. Life that without fear of God Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me, Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of the LORD. (Proverbs 1:28,29). Dearly beloved! another reason for our prayer to remain unanswered is a life without any fear of God. He is of course the One who listens to our prayer and yet that does not mean that we can lead our life as we like. Fear of God should always be in our heart. Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways (Psalm 128:1). However! this does not mean that our Lord is a cruel God and would punish everyone at once. The Lord who created heaven and earth is worthy of all honour and glory. we need to give first place to Him in our life. When you begin each day, you must dedicate the first hour to Him. Every day should begin with Bible reading, and prayer with thanksgiving for all the benefits He has done for us. Likewise, we need to obey Him in the things which He wants us to hate and despise. This is called the fear of God. According to the above verse, it is impossible for God to answer our prayer, when we do not have fear of God, however hard we may pray. So, commit yourself for the fear of God. Then surely you would see answer for your prayer. Open your heart to the above quoted verses and look up to Him daily. Pray with tears. Surely the Lord would answer your prayer and bless you according to His Word, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears. (Isaiah 38:5). He has clearly said that He would not give His glory to anyone else. In that case,

ROBINSON It gives me great joy to write to you about the blessings of the Holy Spirit, by His grace, in this section, Receive the Anointing This month, I would like to share with you about the connection between the Holy Spirit and our prayer life. While writing to the Ephesians, Paul says, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints (Ephesians 6:18). It can be easily inferred from the above verse that whenever we pray with all supplications, we need to pray in the Spirit. Prayer is of different types. We cannot take every answer only on the basis of faith. Dearly beloved, the Lord answers all the prayers. However, there is a vast differ- ence between the prayers that we offer in the flesh, based on our desires and the prayer offered in the Spirit. Sometimes, when we encounter certain problems or afflictions, we wonder, how to pray for that particular problem. Agony, negative attitude, doubts, confusion etc., would grieve our soul to such an extent that we would flounder as to what words to use while praying. The prayer life of most people gets affected at such agonizing times, making them lose interest in seeking His presence. Satan, gladly uses this opportunity, pushes them towards unbelief and thus separates them from the love of God. Pray, being filled with the Spirit Dear child of God! all the saints of God in the Bible, as well as the contemporary men of God faced and are facing tribulations in this world. Yet there is a mighty revival in their prayer life the reason being, the filling of the anointing of the Spirit in them. To enjoy this power, you too may ask for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. You would surely receive this wonderful gift as the Lord has promised, Everyone who asks, receives. He would also give you the gift of speaking in tongues. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. (I Corinthians 14:2). This is the excellence of speaking in tongues. Prayer Requests given by the Holy Spirit Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26).

4 The experience of Holy Spirit is not merely speaking in tongues. When we make it a practice to pray in the Spirit quite often, the Holy Spirit Himself would prompt us to pray for certain prayer requests given by Him. When we thus pray in His presence, time would fly away and it would be so wonderful and full of glory. This is what is known as praying in the Spirit. Those who have WORLD NEWS this experience can surely do great and rare deeds for the Lord. Dearly beloved! please do not despise the anointing of the Holy Spirit which is given free these last days. Never disregard this. Give room for the Holy Spirit to fill you. You would then surely enter into a deep Christian life. May the Lord bless you! Vitamin C for Cancer! That s why He has said in the Bible, Ask and it will be given to you For everyone who asks receives When Jesus saw the blind man, He knew pretty well that that man needed eye sight. Yet He asked him, What do you want Me to do for you? The blind man said to Him, Rabboni, that I may receive my sight. (Mark 10:51). Don t we understand here that God expects our prayers? Prayer is talking to the Lord. Our Heavenly Father wants us to talk to Him just as we want our children to talk to us and tell us their needs. So,

5 please pray to Him. Do not expect any help from man because man can never help us in the way we expect him to help. So, increase your prayer time from today! Pray for Yourself But Jesus, turning to them, said, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children (Luke 23:28). The Lord expects us to pray for ourselves and our children. Firstly pray for the blessing of your family; pray much for your spiritual and worldly blessing such as your personal holiness, peace, health, prosperity, wisdom etc. Tell the Lord all the burdens which you can never share with any human being. He is good and He would surely do great things in your life since He is a prayer answering God. At least once a week, you must fast and pray; you must pray at least one hour each day. Surely the Lord would bless you. Pray for your Children The blessing of a child s future is in the prayers of his/ her parents. In our ministerial path we come across so many rebellious children turning to the Lord and getting blessed by Him because of the parents tear-filled prayers. At the same time, your prayer life should be steady and regular, without any disorder. Some of us pray a lot at times of children s sickness or difficulties but fail to pray when everything goes well for them. Satan makes use of this lapse and deceives the children. The greatest help that you can do for your children is always keeping your children inside prayer, the wall of protection around them. There is no doubt that it is your prayer that keeps away your children from the evil designs of satan, protects them and makes them partakers of His blessings.
