Extracurricular Interests: be as specific as possible Likelihood of Pursuing at Swarthmore considering likely definitely Swim Test Passing the swim test is a graduation requirement. The test is a 15 minute survival test. To pass, you must: Enter the pool by jumping or diving into the deep end; Comfortably swim 4 consecutive lengths of the pool without stopping at either end or in the middle, then Continue swimming or move to the deep end to float or tread water for the remainder of the 15 minutes. Alternatively, if you can present a current WSI or Lifeguarding certification you do not need to take the test you are considered passed upon presentation of your current certification.
