6 About PENS Communications Systems Greg, co-founder of PENS Communications Systems, LLC, is one of the pioneers of individualized communications. In 1995 while at Northwestern in Chicago, he launched the first individualized newsletter system and ran it successfully for three years. During that time, he formulated the basic principles and uncovered the many nuances of this new approach to communications. Since 1998, he has used this extensive knowledge and experience to build and operate 5th generation PENS applications while providing training and guidance in their usage. Greg received his B.S. from the University of Illinois and his M.B.A. from De Paul University in Chicago. He is a frequent speaker at national meetings and universities. 7 About Customer Database Services Rick Dziuban is an expert in health care data. Since 1987, he has built data warehouse applications for clients around the nation. He specializes in taking raw data from virtually any billing system and turning it into useful information. He is particularly accomplished in the nuances of "cleaning" and "standardizing" the raw data and then compiling incidents of service into individual patient records and finally household records. This is the foundation of his relationship marketing system. Rick also adds value with his analysis and interpretation of the data. His years of experience helps client's gain new insights into patient behavior, organizational performance and marketplace trends. Beyond analysis, Rick helps client's build reports with the internal audiences in mind - most often senior, non-marketing executives. Consequently, sophisticated analysis is presented in an easily understood and actionable form.
