8 Essence of FOUNDATION course The FOUNDATION program is designed exclusively for students who are aiming to attain a high rank in the Competitive Examinations. While an extra ordinarily gifted student can achieve the goal of attaining a top rank in Competitive Examinations with 1-2 years of focused preparation during class XI and XII, other students, can achieve the same by starting early and by following a systematic and focused approach, from class IX and X. 9 Essence of NTSE course NTSE is now available for class VIII students only. It is a national level exam comprising of 2 stages. In both stages a written test is conducted. The first stage is at state level, then short listed students on the basis of their performance in the first stage appear for second stage written test at the national level. The scholarship is a great recognition for the students that successfully clear both grueling stages. Even the students who fail to secure the scholarship, benefit immensely from the overall experience through the planning, preparation and hard work required, while preparing for this highly competitive exam. At the end of the preparation and the exam process, each student enhances his overall competence level which is reflected in his improved performance at the school level. The NTSE, serves as a worthy challenge for students beyond their school curriculum so that they may utilize their time, energy and boundless talent in a focused manner.
