10 Combination Switch Controls Light Controls Position / Parking Lamps Headlamp Low Beam Headlamp High Beam Turn Signal Indicator Rotate the switch clockwise to the first position. Rotate the switch clockwise to the second position. With headlamp low beam ON, push the lever down. Move the lever all the way up or down. Front Fog Lamp (If equipped) Rear Fog Lamp Auto Headlamp (If equipped) Headlamp Flashing Rotary Switch Switch ON position lamps and/or headlamp and rotate the rotary switch in anticlockwise direction. To turn OFF, rotate the switch again in the same direction. Rotary Switch Switch ON position headlamps or front fog lamps and rotate the rotary switch in clockwise direction. To turn OFF, rotate the switch again in the same direction. Rotate the switch in anticlockwise direction. Auto headlamp symbol will illuminate in an infotainment screen. Pull the lever towards the steering wheel. 1-10

Front Wiper ON - Intermittent Speed 2. Front Wiper ON - Low Speed 3. Front Wiper ON - High Speed 4. Front wiper ON - Flick Wipe (MIST) Press rain sensing and auto wiping button. Auto wipe indicator will illuminate on the infotainment screen. Push the lever downward to select intermittent wiping. To vary speed, rotate the speed intensity switch. Rear Window Wiper Rear Window Washer F RONT REAR OFF FRO N T REAR OFF PULL ON MIST OFF INT PULL ON MIST OFF INT LOW LOW HIGH HIGH To turn on the rear window wiper, rotate the lever in clockwise direction to rear wiper ON position. To turn on the rear window washer, rotate the lever in clockwise direction to rear wiper washer position. Once rear washer is turn ON, rear wiper will wipe 3 times. 1-11

12 Steering Wheel Adjustment (If equipped) Pull the release lever to unlock the steering wheel and adjust the upward / downward or forward / backward positions. After adjustment, lock the steering wheel. Parking Brake To engage: Pull the parking brake lever upwards as firmly as possible. Upward / Downward Forward / Backward To release: 1. Firmly apply the foot brake 2. Place the gear shift lever in the N (Neutral) position Adjusting lever NOTICE Do not attempt to adjust steering wheel while vehicle is running. 3. While pulling up the parking brake lever slightly, push the release button and lower the lever completely 1-12

13 Manual Transmission To change gears, or when up shifting or downshifting, depress the clutch pedal fully, shift to the appropriate gear, then release the clutch slowly and smoothly. R Forward gears 1 - Reverse gear To select reverse gear (R), pull the reverse lock ring located below the gear shift knob. AWD selection (only for 4X4 vehicle) AWD vehicle is equipped with Interactive Torque Management (ITM) System which intelligently transfers torque to all four wheels. ITM system is available in two operating positions viz., AUTO mode and AWD LOCK mode. AUTO mode: Vehicle is by default in AUTO mode. In Auto mode, whenever any slippage is detected in front wheels (slippery surfaces like icy roads, wet surfaces, etc.) the torque is transferred to the rear wheels by the ITM system. 'AWD LOCK' mode: To activate this mode, press AWD LOCK switch located on central bezel switch bank. The LED on the switch turns ON. In this mode fixed amount of torque is transferred to rear wheels irrespective of driving condition. The vehicle can be operated in this mode ON road as well as OFF road. Reverse Lock PASSENGER AWD LOCK STOP ESP OFF To turn off the AWD LOCK mode press the same switch again. The LED on the switch turns OFF. CAUTION Shift to reverse (R) only after your vehicle is stopped. Shifting into reverse (R) while your vehicle is moving could damage your transmission. 1-13

19 Bonnet Opening Pull bonnet release lever located on the right hand side below instrument panel. Unlocking Tailgate in Emergency Quick Start Guide In case of electrical failure of tailgate release switch and remote key, tailgate can also be opened by using the cable from inside the vehicle. Unclip the warning triangle cover clips and remove the warning triangle from the location. Remove the cable hook from it s place and pull out so as to unlock the tailgate. Pull Press the bonnet locking lever and lift the bonnet. Fix the bonnet at its place using stay rod. Cable hook 1-19

20 FUEL SPRAY MAY CAUSE INJURY Quick Start Guide Fuel Filler Lid Opening Press To open fuel filler lid, press fuel filler lid release switch located on right hand side below AC vent. Tyre Pressure Proper tyre inflation pressure is essential for the safe and satisfactory operation of your vehicle. Tyre pressure label is located at the bottom of B pillar near driver's door. Fuel Filler Cap Close DESIEL ONLY VENTED CAP CAUTION REMOVE SLOWLY Press info button to view tyre pressure information on the infotainment display.(if equipped) Open CAUTION Tighten cap until one click sound is heard. Recommended Fuel: Use high speed diesel confirming to IS 1460; 2010 specification or equivalent. MENU LIST SOURCE INFO MUTE Refer Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) section for detailed functioning and operation. 1-20

21 Tool Kit and Spare Wheel Tool Kit The tool kit is located behind the third row seat near the tail gate.open the tailgate. Raise the tools storage area floor lid by lifiting the strap. Spare Wheel Quick Start Guide Spare wheel is located below the cargo area. It is placed firmly in place by the winch and cable mechanism. Warning Triangle 1. Screw Driver 2.
