7 1. Remove the battery cover and the battery. 2. Insert the T-Flash card by carefully sliding into the holder (not mandatory). 3. Insert the SIM card by carefully sliding into the holder. You can insert up to 2 SIM cards (one standard SIM and one micro SIM); check the correct insertion method checking the label under the battery. 4. Insert the battery, sliding it into the battery compartment. 5. Install the battery cover again. NOTE ON MEMORY CONFIGURATION The phone internal memory (flash memory) is totally dedicated to the device management. For this reason, the free memory must not be used as it should be kept free for possible software updates, or the warranty will be lost. To store and play multimedia files, it is therefore necessary to insert a Micro SD card in the device ( Micro SD card not included). Read carefully this manual before using the device for the first time, and keep this guide in a safe place for future necessity. USER MANUAL page 7

9 1 WRITING AND SENDING SMS 1. Press Menu, enter into Messages and press OK. 2. Select Write message and press OK. 3. Select Text message, then input the message you want to send. Press if you need to select a symbol. 4. Press Options to send the message. 2 INBOX 1. Press Menu, enter into Messages and press OK. 2. Select Inbox and press OK. 3. Select a message from the list and press Options > View to read the message. You can select others options as described below: Reply Input your message and send to the sender. Call sender Press Select to call sender. Forward Press Select to forward message to other contacts. Delete Press Select to delete the message. Delete same number Delete all received messages from the same number. Delete all Delete all received messages. USER MANUAL page 9

10 CHAPTER 3 MESSAGES 3 DRAFTS Here you can see the messages which you saved as draft. 4 SENT MESSAGES 1. Press Menu, enter into Messages and press OK. 2. Select Sent messages and press OK. 3. Select a message from the list and press Options > View to View/Forward /Delete/Delete all messages. 5 SMS SETTINGS Here you can check the memory status, setup the SMS preferred storage or decide to save sent message. NOTE ON MMS: To send MMS, you also need to properly configure the APNs in the menu Settings > Connectivity. Please check with your operator the correct APN settings detail. USER MANUAL page 10

12 CHAPTER 4 PHONEBOOK 1 ADDING A NEW CONTACT 1. Press Menu enter into Phonebook and press OK. 2. Select Add new contact and press OK. 3. Press OK to choose To phone or To SIM. 4. Input Name and number. 5. Press Options to Save or Cancel the contact. 6. Press return to standby. Note: press 2 times the button to add the international prefix +. Always add + before the country code before making international call. 2 PHOTO CONTACT 1. Press Menu, go to Phonebook and press OK. 2. Select Options > Photo contact and press OK. 3. Now insert name, phone number and picture of your favourite contact, for number from 1 to 8, pressing Edit and inserting all the relevant data. 4. From the main menu, press Arrow down to see all the photo contact and call the desired person. USER MANUAL page 12

13 3 MAKING A PHONE CALL 1. In standby mode, input the phone number including the. area code; in case, delete with Clear. 2. Press to dial and press Abort to cancel calling. 4 MAKING A PHONE CALL FROM THE PHONEBOOK 1. Press Menu enter into Phonebook and press OK. 2. Use to scroll through the contacts or quick search by inserting the first letter of the name. 3. Press to call the selected contact. 5 SPEED DIAL Here can set favourite numbers, and call them by simply pressing and holding the associated number key. 1. Press Menu, choose Phonebook and press OK. 2. Press Options > Phonebook settings and press Select. 3. Select Speed dial, 2-9 Numbers and press OK. 4. Set the status to ON in order to activate the function. 5. Select Set number and then Edit to associate a phonebook number to the corresponding numeric key. For example, associating a contact to number 3, it is possible to call the contact simply pressing the 3 key for about one second. USER MANUAL page 13

14 CHAPTER 4 PHONEBOOK 6 M1/M2 NUMBERS M1,M2 keys can be associated to any contact following this procedure: 1. Press Menu and scroll to Phonebook. 2. Select Options > Phonebook settings and press OK. 3. Select Speed dial, M1/M2 numbers and press OK. 4. Set the status to ON to activate the function. 5. Select Set Numbers to associate the number to the keys. 6. Select Edit to choose numbers for M1 and M2 keys from phonebook. USER MANUAL page 14

16 CHAPTER 5 CALL CENTER All received, missed, outgoing calls are saved in call center. 1 CALL HISTORY 1. Press Menu, go to Call center and press OK. 2. Enter into Call history and press OK. 3. Here you can check call logs as below: Missed calls/dialed calls/received calls/delete call logs 2 CALL SETTINGS 1. Press Menu, go to Call center and press OK. 2. Select Call settings and press OK. 3. Here you can Activate or deactivate the functions below: Call waiting Call divert Call barring 4. Under advanced settings you can setup the below functions: Auto redial Press OK to select the status On/Off. Call time reminder Press OK to select Off/Single/Periodic. Answer mode Press OK to select Any key answer or Auto answer in headset mode; with Cover Answer it is possible to answer to the phone calls simply opening the phone cover. USER MANUAL page 16

18 CHAPTER 6 MULTIMEDIA 1 FM RADIO 1. Press Menu enter into Multimedia, press OK to select FM radio. 2. Press Options to view Channel list. 3. Select Manual input to input manually the channel you prefer (press to insert decimal frequency, for example 95.3). 4. Select Auto search to automatically search for your local radio channel; this function will modify all the radio channels saved on the Channel list. 5. Enter into settings to set up background play; use the 4 or 6 buttons to change this setting. 6. Use the 2 or 8 buttons to move the previous or next radio station. 7. Press & to change the volume. 2 CAMERA Press Menu enter into Multimedia, press OK to select Camera. Press the Arrow up or Arrow down button to zoom in or out. Press the 5 button to take the picture. Press Options > Switch to video recorder in order to activate the video recorder. USER MANUAL page 18

19 3 IMAGE VIEWER Here you can view all the images saved on the phone or on the SD card. Press the arrows button to move across all the files. 4 AUDIO PLAYER Before listening to the music, you must add it in the music List. Go to List à Options à Add in order to add music the list, surfing in the phone memory or sd card memory. Pleaser verify that the List Auto Gen option is turned off (go to Options > Settings and in case modify the setting with button 4 and 6). Press the 5 button to play or pause the music. Press & to adjust the volume. 5 SOUND RECORDER 1. Press Menu and go to Multimedia, press OK after choosing Sound recorder. 2. Select Options > New record to create a new audio recording. Press STOP to save it. 3. Select Options > List to see all the saved recordings, then Options > Play to listen to the chosen file. From this menu, you can select the recording as Ringtone (Select Use as ). 4. Go to Options > Settings to define the audio quality and the storage where to save the files. USER MANUAL page 19

20 CHAPTER 6 MULTIMEDIA 6 VIDEO PLAYER Enter this menu to play videos recorded with the video camera. NOTE: The video player automatically displays the videos stored in VIDEOS directory of the SD card. The system can play videos saved on your phone, and it is not guaranteed to play other video formats from other sources. Select Options > Play to choose the video to play; press the 0 button to start or stop playing the video. 4 and 6 buttons control the rewind and fast forward functions. USER MANUAL page 20

24 CHAPTER 8 ORGANIZER 1 FILE MANAGER Here you can manage the files saved on the phone or on the SD card. 2 CALCULATOR 1. Press Menu enter into Organizer, press OK to select Calculator. 2. Enter the first number and use to enter into the decimal point. 3. Use to select( + - * ). 4. Enter the next number and press OK. The result is shown on the screen. 3 CALENDAR 1. Press Menu and go to Organizer, Select Calendar and press OK. The screen moves to today s date. 2. Press Options to go to Jump to date insert the date and press OK to go to the decided date. 25 4 ALLARM 1. Press Menu enter into Organizer, select Alarm and press OK. 2. Press Edit to select status on/off. Press 4 & 6 to change the status on/off. 3. Enter the time directly by keypad. 4. Scroll to select repeat times and Alert type. 5. Press Save to activate the alarm, cancel it by press Back in case the settings are not correct. 6. To Edit the alarm, press Edit; to stop it, press Off. 5 BLUETOOTH (IF AVAILABLE) 1. Press Menu enter into Organizer, press OK to select Bluetooth. 2. Function on/off: Select on/off to enable/disable bluetooth. 3. Visibility: Select on/off to make the phone visible /invisible to other devices. 4. My device: Check the device name and allow you to add new devices. 5. Search audio device: Search for the available audio device. 6. My name: Name for current device. USER MANUAL page 25

27 1 SOS SETTINGS 1. Press Menu and enter into Settings. 2. Select SOS settings and press OK. 3. Scroll to Status and setup SOS status on/off. 4. Scroll to SOS Numbers to setup SOS number, here you can setup 5 numbers. 5. Scroll to SOS SMS on/off to choose whether to send SOS SMS or not. 6. Enter into SOS SMS to edit message. The message is fixed and will be sent to all the family numbers, after pressing the SOS button. 7. Enter into Warning Tone to control the tone status on or off. 2 MAKING A SOS CALL Before you make SOS call, please check that the SOS status is ON and you already completed the SOS settings. Long press SOS button: the phone will auto send SOS messages to the selected SOS numbers and then call to the selected SOS numbers one by one; the siren sound is always active until the call will be answered (if the SOS sound is activated in the relevant setting). To abort the SOS sequence, just press SOS button again. USER MANUAL page 27

28 CHAPTER 9 SETTINGS 3 PROFILES 1. Press Menu and scroll to Settings. 2. Select Profiles and press OK. Then you will see four mode as below: General Silent Meeting Outdoor Here you can choose your preferred Power on/off ringtones, incoming call ringtones etc. 3. Press Menu and scroll to Settings. 4. Select User profiles and press OK. Select General and press Option. 5. Select Customize and press Select. 6. Scroll to Alert type and press Options to select Ring only, Vibration Only, Vibration and ring or Vibration then ring. Press OK to save. 7. Scroll to Ringtone and press Options to select preferred ringtone. 8. Scroll to Ringtone volume and press Option, Use to adjust volume and press OK to save. 9. Scroll to Message and press Option to select a preferred ringtone for message. 10. Scroll to Message volume and press Option, use to adjust volume, press OK to save. 11. It is also possible to customize the open and close cover tone of the phone (menu cover open and cover close), and USER MANUAL page 28

29 activate the alert for low battery or other phone events (System alert). Use the same procedure to setup the other modes. 4 DUAL SIM SETTINGS Set here the settings relating to the SIMs installed on the phone. 5 PHONE SETTINGS 1. Press menu scroll to Settings. 2. Select Phone settings and press OK. Then you can setup the functions as described below. Time and date 1. Select Set home city and choose your local city. 2. Select Time and date and press OK to set time and date. 3. Enter Time and date and press Save. Language 1. Select Language and press OK. 2. Use to select the Language from the list and press OK. Prefered input method 1. Select Pref.input method and press OK. Use to select a input method form the list and press OK. USER MANUAL page 29

30 CHAPTER 9 SETTINGS Display 1. Select Display and enter into wallpaper. 2. Here you can select wallpaper from the phone or memory card. 3. It is also possible to decide to show the date and time on the main phone screen, and the operator name. Dedicated keys Here you can set shortcuts for up key and down arrow. 1. Press Menu and scroll to Settings. 2. Select Dedicated keys and press Ok. 3. Choose Up key to determine relevant functions you like, and in the same way you can set up shortcuts for down key. Misc settings Here you can define the phone LCD backlight. Use the 4 and 6 buttons to increase or decrease the screen brightness. USER MANUAL page 30

31 6 SECURITY SETTINGS Here you can set some security settings for SIM card, phone and keypad. 1. Press Menu and go to Settings. 2. Scroll to security settings and press OK. Then you can see sub-menus below: A. SIM security Here you can setup PIN lock status on or off and change the PIN code B.Phone security Here you can setup Phone lock status on/off and change password (default password 1122). 7 NETWORK SETTINGS Decide here if network selection is automatic or manual. 8 CONNECTIVITY Here you can set the APNs for the MMS management. Get the info from your service provider to enter the correct settings. 9 RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS Press OK and input password (1122) to reset your phone to the default factory settings.
