2 1 Faith, Health & Rejuvenation Joshua 1:8 says, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. I believe this is one of the most important and most neglected scriptures in the entire Bible, simply because Christians have forgotten the importance of meditating on God s Word. In John 15:7 Jesus said, If you abide [live] in me, and my words abide [live] in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done for you. So, it would seem Christians should be eager to make God s words a part of us yet; the average Christian today spends less time reading and meditating on scripture than at any other time in history. It s no wonder why so many of God s people are frustrated and confused; searching for answers about their purpose and struggling with the lack of results from their prayer life. This book will introduce you to the proper way to meditate on God s word and make His word come to live in you as Jesus referred to in the book of John. I have chosen 40 of the most powerful verses from the Bible specifically to bring faith, healing and rejuvenation into your life. The number 40 represents a time of purification and preparation throughout the Bible. For example, in the time of Noah, God purified the earth with 40 days and 40 nights of rain. And in order to prepare for His ministry, Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness. Each day you will meditate on a different scripture and after 40 days you will have not only created the habit of meditating on God s word but His word will come alive as never before. After 40 days of meditation you may be closer to God than at any other time in your life, but what does it mean to meditate on God s word? Meditate in Hebrew means to speak or mutter. Therefore an effective way to meditate on scripture is to first read the verse several times. Next, whenever possible speak the verse out loud several more times. Then as you speak, visualize yourself living out the scripture and proclaim it for yourself. For example, if you were meditating on Isaiah 53:4 which says, Surely he hath borne our grief, and carried away our sorrows, you would personalize it by saying, He has carried away my grief and carried away my sorrow. Do this multiple times throughout the day for maximum results and after 40 days you will be connected to God in a way few people ever experience. Yours in Christ, Rev. Chris Camp

3 2 Meditation Scriptures Day 1 -- Mark 9:23 If thou can believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. Day Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of sound mind. Day 3 -- Psalm 1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Day 4 -- Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint. Day 5 -- John 20:29 Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed. Day 6 -- Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them. Day 7 -- Psalm 92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Day 8 -- Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

4 3 Day 9 -- Proverbs 3:3-4 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck and write them upon the table of thine heart: so shalt thou find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. Day Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith and not of yourself: it is a gift of God. Day Romans 6:14 Sin shall not have power over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Day Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Day James 4:7 Submit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Day Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Day John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Day Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from me saith the Lord. Day John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Day Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our sins; he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and with His stripes we were healed.

5 4 Day John 15:4-5 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Day Romans 5:19 For as by one man s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Day Matthew 9:22 But Jesus turned him about and when he saw her he said, Daughter be of good comfort; thy faith has made thee whole. Day Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. Day Matthew 9:29 Then touched he their eyes saying, according to your faith be it unto to you. Day Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Day Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive; if ye have ought against any; so that your father also which is in heaven may forgive you of your trespasses. Day Luke 6:38 Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together, and running over shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Day James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

6 5 Day Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give strength into his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Day Psalm 106:1 Praise ye the Lord. Give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good and his mercy endures with forever. Day John 3:17 For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Day Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Day Psalm 95:2-3 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with songs. For the Lord is a great God and a great king above all gods. Day John 5:5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the son of God. Day Mark 10:52 And Jesus said and to him, go thy way; thy faith has made the whole. And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.

Day Psalm 119:30 I have chosen the way of truth: I have set my heart on your laws.
