3 Gold Silver Bronze Coarse/flat grinding is not included in this concept. This requires that the surface is already smooth and flat, otherwise - use the grinding process for HTC Superfloor Platinum. Soft concrete causes more wear on the tools. Check tools for wear after 10 mins. It takes about 20 to 30 days for newly-laid concrete to harden and attain its full strength. The values can vary depending on the quality of the concrete. EZ T-Rex Classic An aggressive tool that offers extreme stripping of most materials. EZ T-Rex Dome An aggressive tool for tougher stripping of most materials and thicknesses. EZ T-Rex Super II A very effective tool with high stripping capacity which gives fast results and leaves an even surface. EZ T-Rex Ring An aggressive tool with high stripping capacity. Thanks to its design, the machine moves evenly on uneven floors, leaving an even surface. EZ S2 S2 is used for grinding on very abrasive surfaces. The segment has a very long life. EZ M0 A coarse segment for removal of various coatings. Works well on aggressive surfaces. M0 M1 T-Rex Dome II Scarifier EZ M1 A standard segment for concrete, removal of adhesive, rain-damaged surfaces and newly-cast floors. The segment gives a coarsely-structured surface. M1 has a high removal rate in relation to its life. Epoxy Glue Paint Screed Joints and ridges < 1 mm 1-5 mm > 5 mm > 10 mm > 10 mm EZ H0 A coarse segment for removal of various coatings. EZ H1 A standard segment for concrete, removal of adhesive, rain-damaged surfaces and newly-cast floors. The segment gives a coarsely-structured surface. EZ X2 An extremely effective tool for concrete grinding. Recommended for hard concrete floors. y y/2 Adhesive removal When removing residual adhesive, we recommend grinding with a 50% overlap to obtain best results.

5 Terrazzo / Natural stone Marble/terrazzo/ limestone Dry grinding The intention of the first grinding step is to remove indentations and scratches. Repair joints after first step if necessary. All subsequent grinding steps must remove the scratches from the previous grinding step. HTC Stain Protection is recommended as a final treatment enhancing the natural color of the stone and reducing liquid absorption. Granite Wet grinding The first grinding step must remove indentations and scratches. All subsequent grinding steps - must remove the scratches from the previous grinding step. Plastic Bonded diamonds should be used with flexible tool holder. To get the right color and deep gloss HTC Granite Spray and Powder together with stainless steel wool pads must be used. 6 Wood grinding The diamond tools EZ SL 30 and 50 are used to remove old lacquer and oil, and for levelling of uneven floors. The tools should always be used with flexible tool holders. When old finish has been removed from the floor, switch to sandpaper and continue grinding with finer grit sizes. Start according to alternative 1. The tools are used only when abrasive paper isn t effective enough to remove old finish. Alternative 1 To make sure the job is done the easiest way possible, start according to Alternative 1. If old finish (ie lacquer, oil or varnish) can t be removed with just sandpaper follow the recommendations according to Alternative 2. Alternative 2 If the scratches from EZ SL 50 are difficult to remove with 60 grit sandpaper, go back to 40 grit sandpaper according to Alternative 3. Alternative 3 If the lacquer or oil is too thick or hard for EZ SL 50, use the EZ SL 30 tools according to Alternative 4. Alternative 4 Make sure that all scratches from EZ SL 30 are removed with the 40 grit sandpaper. NB! Fundamental for a successful result; When using EZ SL diamond tools it is very important that all scratches are removed in the subsequent sandpaper step. Tip! When controlling scratches, use a damp cloth and wipe over a small part of the floor. Scratches are more visible when the floor is wet.
