School- aged children from 5 years up are welcomed to attend and parents; in addition, other family members of the students can be active participants in various activities organized to foster a sense of community. Growing up With Chinese 成长汉语 Entertaining, fun and easy to follow. This series teaches 300 of the most commonly spoken Chinese phrases to teenagers. It is hosted by Charlotte MacInnis, known to the Chinese audiences as Ai Hua. About a 100- episode series. Some are for business and some are online programs of universities and colleges. Learning Chinese Online is a comprehensive collection of resources for learning Chinese language. However, like many similar kinds of sites, some of the links are working well but some are not; some sites are very useful but some are not. Online Chinese Etymological Dictionary Introduction to Chinese Grammar, by Shun Ha Sylvia Konecna Wong is an online learning program. It is a US- China collaboration designed for middle and high school students. 6 Podcasts for Higher Level Learners Slow Chinese 慢速中文 chinese.com/ Best used for: Gleaning into the life of a Chinese college student Theme: Daily life in China Slow Chinese is a relatively new show, and it s also pretty unique. It s created by Chinese college students, and basically, these students talk about a snippet of what it s like to live in China, often in short sessions under 10 minutes.
