2 Themes We will center our activities around 2 themes this month: Sept 4-14 Back to School Sept All About Me Snack Students will be cooking on Tuesdays. The PEP program uses snacks to help our young students master communication, feeding, social fine motor skills. Per guidance from the Office of the Deputy Superintendent, the Office of School Performance, the Office of Curriculum Instructional Programs, PEP may continue charging parents a fee for these snacks because they are consumed (eaten) by the children. This is consistent with fees for the Family Consumer Science course the Medical Careers course. If there is any parent who is unable to pay the snack fee, which is $70.00 per year, $35.00 per semester, it would be reduced or waived, or it can be paid through scheduled payments.

Please let me know your preferred method of communication: , phone call, or text. Absences Please inform Nudh of any absences from school. If you know ahead of that your child will be absent, please send in a note or . Please see the hout in this packet regarding when to keep your child home from school. Please be aware that we have a student with fragile health needs; we need to keep our classroom as healthy as possible. Field Trips We will take 2 field trips this year. Allergies We have a student who is allergic to beef, pork, eggs, milk, peanuts tree nuts. If possible, please try to minimize sending in items. We underst beef, pork, eggs milk are more difficult to restrict, but if we could try to keep a peanut/tree nut-free zone, that would be great. Donations Due to the nature of our students, we try to keep a healthy environment in our classroom. If you would like to make a donation, we are in need of many cleaning items, such as: Laundry detergent Dishwashing detergent/soap Baby wipes Cleaning supplies (wipes or spray) Thank you in advance for your generosity.
