1 Episode 1 A Day in the Life of Tayo [1:00:00] #1. EXT. Waiting Area of Test Driving Center - Afternoon (Subtitle) A Day in the Life of Tayo! This is the test driving center. Only the cars that pass the test will be allowed to drive in the streets. Hmm... Green means go. (Looking over at Tayo) Huh? (Looking over at Tayo) Huh? And stop at the red light. (O.S.) Excuse me. (Looks to the right) Yes? I m sorry, but could you please stop talking? Sorry if I distracted you. I m nervous. Me too. But your talking is making me even more nervous.
2 Really? I m sorry. I ll try to be quiet. Thanks. / (They look off into the distance) Umm... (Look over and smiles when their eyes meet) Huh? Ha-ha-ha. Tayo My name is Tayo. This is my first time taking the test. Tayo? Nice to meet you. I m Nuri. It s my first time, too. Tayo I see. // (Hearing the bell) Huh? ANNOUNCEMENT (O.S.) Next is No.21, mini truck Vroomy. Okay. That s me. [01:00:58] #2. EXT. Test Course - Afternoon ANNOUNCEMENT (O.S.) You may begin. (O.S.) It s a red light. Red means stop!
3 (Looks when he hears chicks chirp) Huh? CHICKS Chirp! Chirp! Chirp! Hello, little fellers. (O.S.) The light turned green. (Watching the screen) He s moving again. Wow. He s so good. Yeah. There s so much traffic. (Seeing a car pass by) Huh? (Looking over at the next lane) That lane is moving faster. (Changing lanes) Then I guess... (Braking at the sound of honking) Oops! SE Hooonk!! (Honking) Screech!! (Screech of tires) BIG Hey! It s dangerous to cut in like that! Oh, I m sorry. Back to my lane. (Startled by the sound of honking) Ah! SE Honk! (Honking) Screech! (Screech of tires)
4 TAXI Ahh! TAXI It s dangerous if you suddenly change lanes. I-I m really sorry. ANNOUNCEMENT (O.S.) No.21, you have failed! Huh? ANNOUNCEMENT (O.S.) You have broken a traffic law. [01:01:53] #3. EXT Waiting Area - Afternoon Whew / (Feeling sorry ) Hmm (At the sound of the bell) Huh? ANNOUNCEMENT (O.S.) Next is No.22, Nuri s turn. Good luck, Nuri! Okay. (Smiling) Thanks! [01:02:09] #4. EXT Test Course - Afternoon Nuri is very nervous, but determined to do well.

No.22, Nuri the little taxi has passed! Yay! [01:02:35] #5. EXT Waiting Area - Afternoon Congratulations, Nuri! Thanks. / (At the sound of the bell) Huh? ANNOUNCEMENT (O.S.) Next is No. 23, Tayo s turn. It s my turn! Have confidence. I m sure you ll do well. Okay.
6 [01:02:53] #6. EXT Test course - Afternoon Oh, I m so nervous. ANNOUNCEMENT (O.S.) You may begin. Okay. I m off! Huh! It s a red light. LITTLE KID (Crossing the road) Hi, little bus! Hmm-hmm-hmm. (Humming as she walks) Hello! Tayo is obeying the traffic laws in just the way he practiced. (After hearing bell) Huh? ANNOUNCEMENT (O.S.) (Overlaps) No.23 Tayo the little bus, you have passed! (Hearing the bell) Hurray! I ve passed! (Laughter) Tayo has now officially become a city bus. [01:03:44) #7. EXT Waiting Area - Afternoon (Laughing) He-he-he.
7 (O.S.) Tayo! Congratulations! I knew you would pass. You deserve it. Thanks. (O.S.) Hey, wait! / Huh? (O.S.) Wow. He s huge. Are you Tayo, the bus that just passed the test? Uh-huh. Who are you? I m Cito. I ll be taking you to the city bus garage. Hello. I m Tayo s friend, Nuri. Nice to meet you, Tayo and Nuri. I have to take Tayo to the garage. Do you want to come with us? No thanks. I have to go somewhere. Take care, Tayo!
8 You too. Bye! Bye. (O.S.) Let s get going. Okay. [01:04:36] #8. EXT Downtown Seoul - Afternoon The giant metropolis is bustling with activity. It s Tayo s first time in the big city and everything is fascinating to him. Wow, this place is crowded! (O.S.) Tayo. Yes? Look ahead. You might get into an accident looking around like that. (Looking alarmed) Huh? Got it. (Laughing) He-he-he. (O.S.) It s the red light. Stop. Yes, sir.
9 SE Screech! (Speedy s tires screeching) Hi, little bus. (Overlaps) Huh? (After Speedy says hi) Oh. Hi. (Looking away with an amazed look) Wow! Wow, a magnificent car is passing by. Wow! Cool! (O.S.) That s nothing. Huh? (Looking back at Speedy) Ha! (Arrogant smile) That car only looks nice on the outside. You gotta be fast to really be the best. And that s me. Call me Speedy! Speedy? I m Tayo. How fast do you think I could be? You gotta try to go fast to find out. What do you say? You wanna race? Really? But I can t. I have to go to the bus garage.
10 You can go after a quick race, can t you? Well... I guess. Let s go! Let s wait a little longer. Sorry. I ll be right back! Huh? Tayo! Don t go! (VO) (Before the logo appears) Tayo, the little bus! [01:06:06] #9. EXT Riverside Highway Woo-hoo! Wow! Yay! How am I doing? Not bad. Yay! (Goes off screen) Geronimo! (Laughing at him) Ha! But I m just getting started! (Shouts)
11 Huh? Okay! (Taking a breath) BIG/TAXI/BLUE TRUCK (Surprised) Huh!/Ahhhh! Driving fast is dangerous. They should be more careful. (Looking back) Huh? (Speeding forward) Hah! Huh? Slow down! It s dangerous! (Glancing sideways) I know what I m doing! (Looks ahead and is alarmed) Huh? Ahhhhhh! (Until the next scene) Oh! No! Ahhh! Ah (As he slams into the guard rails) Speedy! Speedy ends up getting seriously hurt. Are you okay, Speedy? No, I don t think so. Can you give me a hand? Uh, what do you want me to do? (Hearing the sirens) Huh? Don t worry. The police are here.
