2 Thank you for choosing Xcellon. The Xcellon USB-EC3 adds a Gigabit Ethernet port and three USB 3.0 Standard-A ports to your USB-C -supported Mac or PC. It extends your computer s connectivity so you have secure and reliable Internet access via a wired connection while you use your USB peripherals. It s ideal for connecting a device such as a keyboard, mouse, flash drive, camera, smartphone, or tablet. This adapter is bus powered so no external power source is needed. Just plug it into an available USB-C port on your computer and go to work. It supports USB 3.0 data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gbps, and the adapter delivers Ethernet speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps. The hub also is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 and supports most USB devices.

5 Installing the Driver Important: If your computer does not have a CD drive, drivers can be downloaded from 1 Insert the included CD into your computer s CD drive. 6 Using the Adapter 1 Plug the USB-C connector into an available USB port on your computer. The blue LED indicator will light up when the adapter is receiving power. 2 Plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the adapter. 3 Plug your compatible USB devices into the USB ports on the adapter. Troubleshooting Problem I can t connect to the Internet or my USB devices, or the Power LED is not on. Solution Make sure the adapter is plugged into a powered USB port on your computer. Make sure you have correctly installed the software drivers from the included CD. Download the latest driver from xcellongear.com/downloads.
