3 Standard Name Requirements Domain must: Correspond to a trademark, trade name or service mark of the business or organization Not be a Reserved or Common Name Not be likely to deceive or cause material detriment to a significant portion of the banking community, its customers or Internet users Not be 2 characters, a country name or an IDN REGISTRATION PROCESS STEP 1: Verify Trademark with TMCH (Sunrise Only) The Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) is a central repository service that verifies registered marks for the launch of new gtlds Lexsynergy, as a TMCH agent, will submit the mark to the TMCH STEP 2: Register with an Accredited Registrar Sign up with Lexsynergy at Create contact template (handle) - used for the registration information (Whois) for each.bank application at Send supporting document (see step 3A below) to Lexsynergy to ensure precompliance with Symantec verification and ftld requirements Submit domain name lists to Lexsynergy Pay application fees Applications submitted on relevant launch date

Symantec may verify: Organization, Jurisdiction and Banking Credentials Domain Name Selection Physical Address and Telephone Number Employment of Registrant s Contact and their Authority Symantec will call the registrant organization to verify authority of named person to register a.bank domain name Verification will be performed at the time of initial registration and at each renewal or every two years, whichever is sooner.
