1. Always My foes are many, they rise against me But I will hold my ground I will not fear the war, I will not fear the storm My help is on the way, my help is on the way Oh, my God, He will not delay My refuge and strength always I will not fear, His promise is true My God will come through always, always Troubles surround me, chaos abounding My soul will rest in You I will not fear the war, I will not fear the storm My help is on the way, my help is on the way I lift my eyes up, my help comes from the Lord (4) From You Lord, from You Lord 2. Because He Lives God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus; He came to love, heal and forgive; He lived and died to buy my pardon, An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives! Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, Because He lives, all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living, Just because He lives! How sweet to hold a newborn baby, And feel the pride and joy he gives; But greater still the calm assurance: This child can face uncertain days because He Lives! 4
And then one day, I'll cross the river, I'll fight life's final war with pain; And then, as death gives way to vict'ry, I'll see the lights of glory and I'll know He lives! 3. Bless the Lord, O my soul Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul Worship His holy name Sing like never before O my soul I'll worship Your holy name The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning It's time to sing Your song again Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me Let me be singing when the evening comes Bless the Lord, O my soul, O my soul Worship His holy name Sing like never before O my soul I'll worship Your holy name You're rich in love, and You're slow to anger Your name is great, and Your heart is kind For all Your goodness I will keep on singing Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find 4. Fairest Lord Jesus Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature, O Thou of God and man the Son, Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor, Thou, my soul s glory, joy and crown. 5
Chorus: Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations! Son of God and Son of Man! Glory and honor, Praise, adoration, Now and forever Forever more be Thine. Fair are the meadows, Fairer still the woodlands, Robed in the blooming garb of spring; Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer, Who makes the woeful heart to sing. Fair is the sunshine, Fairer still the moonlight, And all the twinkling starry host; Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer Than all the angels heaven can boast. 5. God of Wonders Lord of heaven and earth, Lord of heaven and earth Lord of all creation, Of water, earth and sky. The heavens are your Tabernacle. Glory to the Lord on high! God of wonders beyond our galaxy, You are holy, holy. The universe declares your majesty, You are holy, holy. Lord of heaven and earth, Lord of heaven and earth. Early in the morning, I will celebrate the light. When I stumble in the darkness, I will call your name by night 6
Hallelujah (To the Lord of Heaven and Earth) Hallelujah (To the Lord of Heaven and Earth) Hallelujah (To the Lord of Heaven and Earth) Holy, holy, Holy, holy 6. Mighty to Save Everyone needs compassion, a love that's never failing Let mercy fall on me, Everyone needs forgiveness, The kindness of a savior, The hope of nations Savior, He can move the mountains, My God is mighty to save, He is mighty to save, Forever author of salvation He rose and conquered the grave, Jesus conquered the grave So take me as You find me, all my fears and failures And fill my life again, I give my life to follow Everything I believe in now I surrender Shine Your light and let the whole world see We're singing for the glory of the risen King Jesus, shine Your light and let the whole world see We're singing for the glory of the risen King 7. Never Once Standing on this mountaintop Looking just how far we've come Knowing that for every step You were with us Kneeling on this battle ground Seeing just how much You've done Knowing every victory Is Your power in us 7
Scars and struggles on the way But with joy our hearts can say Yes, our hearts can say Never once did we ever walk alone Never once did You leave us on our own You are faithful, God, You are faithful Carried by Your constant grace Held within Your perfect peace Never once, no, we never walk alone Every step we are breathing in Your grace Evermore we'll be breathing out Your praise You are faithful, God, You are faithful You are faithful, God, You are faithful 8. Overcome Seated above Enthroned in the Father's love Destined to die Poured out for all mankind God's only Son Perfect and spotless One He never sinned But suffered as if He did All authority, every victory is Yours All authority, every victory is Yours Savior, worthy of honor and glory Worthy of all our praise You overcame Jesus awesome in power forever Awesome and great is Your name You overcame Power in hand Speaking the Father's plan You're sending us out Light in this broken land 8
All authority, every victory is Yours All authority, every victory is Yours We will overcome by the blood of the And the word of our testimony Everyone overcome 9. Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior Pass me not, O gentle Savior, Hear my humble cry; While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. Savior, Savior, Hear my humble cry; While on others Thou art calling, Do not pass me by. Let me at Thy throne of mercy find a sweet relief, Kneeling there in deep contrition; Help my unbelief. Trusting only in Thy merit, would I seek Thy face; Heal my wounded, broken spirit, Save me by Thy grace. Thou the spring of all my comfort, More than life to me, Whom have I on earth beside Thee? Whom in Heav n but Thee? 10. Thank You God for Saving Me What can I give to you what can I offer to the king For all the love you've shown for all your mercy over me I called your name, you heard my cry Out of the grave, and into life my heart is yours, my soul is free Thank you God for saving me Thank you God for saving me 9
The rock of salvation my hope is built on nothing less Morning by morning how great is your faithfulness You gave your life upon the cross You suffered once for all You made a way Jesus in victory you rose You made us all your own Now we are saved Thank you god for saving me (Thank you God) Thank you god for saving me (Thank you for the cross) Thank you god for saving me for saving me 11. There is A redeemer There is a redeemer, Jesus, God's own Son Precious Lamb of God, Messiah, Holy One Jesus my redeemer name above all names Precious Lamb of God, Messiah oh, for sinners slain Thank You oh my Father for giving us Your Son And leaving Your Spirit 'til the work on Earth is done When I stand in glory I will see His face And there I'll serve my King forever in that holy place 12. Wonderful, Merciful Savior Wonderful, merciful Savior, Precious Redeemer and friend Who would have thought that a lamb could Rescue the souls of men, Oh, You rescue the souls of men 10
Counselor, Comforter, Keeper, Spirit we long to embrace You offer hope when our hearts have Hopelessly lost the way, Oh, we hopelessly lost the way You are the one that we praise, You are the one we adore You give the healing and grace, Our hearts always hunger for Oh, our hearts always hunger for Almighty, infinite Father, Faithfully loving Your own Here in our weakness You find us, Falling before Your throne Oh, we're falling before Your throne 13. Holy, holy, holy! Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee. Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty, God in three persons, blessed Trinity! Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee, casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea; cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee, which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be. Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide thee, though the eye of sinful man thy glory may not see, only thou art holy; there is none beside thee, perfect in power, in love and purity. Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth and sky and sea. Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty, God in three persons, blessed Trinity. 11
14. In Christ Alone In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song; this Cornerstone, this solid Ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings cease! My Comforter, my All in All, here in the love of Christ I stand. In Christ alone! who took on flesh Fulness of God in helpless babe! This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones he came to save: Till on that cross as Jesus died, The wrath of God was satisfied - For every sin on Him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live. There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain: Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave he rose again! And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost its grip on me, For I am His and He is mine - Bought with the precious blood of Christ. No guilt in life, no fear in death, This is the power of Christ in me; From life's first cry to final breath. Jesus commands my destiny. 12
No power of hell, no scheme of man, Can ever pluck me from His hand; Till He returns or calls me home, Here in the power of Christ I'll stand. 15. Lord, I Need You Lord, I come, I confess Bowing here I find my rest Without You I fall apart You're the One that guides my heart Lord, I need You, oh, I need You Every hour I need You My one defense, my righteousness Oh God, how I need You Where sin runs deep Your grace is more Where grace is found is where You are And where You are, Lord, I am free Holiness is Christ in me Teach my song to rise to You When temptation comes my way And when I cannot stand I'll fall on You Jesus, You're my hope and stay You're my one defense, my righteousness Oh God, how I need You My one defense, my righteousness Oh God, how I need You 13
16. Open the eyes of my heart Open the eyes of my heart, Lord Open the eyes of my heart I want to see You, I want to see You To see You high and lifted up Shinin' in the light of Your glory Pour out Your power and love As we sing holy, holy, holy Holy, holy, holy, Holy, holy, holy, I want to see you 17. My Savior, My God I am not skilled to understand What God has willed what God Has planned I only know at his right hand Stands one who is my Savior I take him at his word and deed Christ died to save me this I read And in my heart I find the need Of him to be my Savior That he would leave his place on high And come for sinful man to die You called it strange so once did I Before I knew my Savior My Savior loves, My Savior lives My Savior's always there for me My God he was, My God he is My God he's always gonna be 14
Yes living, dying let me bring My strength my Solace from the Spring That he who lives to be my king Once died to be my Savior That he would leave his place on high And come for sinful man to die You called it strange, so once did I Before I knew my Savior 18. Above All Powers Above all powers, above all kings Above all nature and all created things Above all wisdom and all the ways of man You were here, before the world began Above all kingdoms, above all thrones Above all wonders the world has ever known Above all wealth and treasures of the earth There's no way to measure what you're worth Crucified, laid behind a stone You lived to die, rejected and alone Like a rose, trampled on the ground You took the fall and thought of me Above all Crucified, laid behind a stone You lived to die, rejected and alone Like a rose, trampled on the ground You took the fall and thought of me 15
19. Come Thou Fount Above all powers, above all kings Come, thou Fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing thy grace; streams of mercy, never ceasing, call for songs of loudest praise. Teach me some melodious sonnet, sung by flaming tongues above. Praise the mount! I'm fixed upon it, mount of thy redeeming love. Here I raise mine Ebenezer; hither by thy help I'm come; and I hope, by thy good pleasure, safely to arrive at home. Jesus sought me when a stranger, wandering from the fold of God; he, to rescue me from danger, interposed his precious blood. O to grace how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be! Let thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to thee. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love; here's my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above 16
