2 Report on new payment solutions The Danish Payment Councils report describes the current use of payment methods in Denmark explores consumers and retailers views on various payment methods analyses new payment solutions and assesses their pros and cons identifies barriers to the roll out of new payment solutions

8 Consumer survey As part of the analysis of new payment solutions, the working group prepared a consumer survey The survey was carried out by Statistics Denmark on behalf of Danmarks Nationalbank All in all, 1,261 consumers participated in the survey which took place in February and March 2013 The participants registered all their payments during a predefined day and answered a questionnaire Data from the survey are now available at Danmarks Nationalbnk s website
