Thanks to its success, Nexus line is expanding!
NEXUS, a new generation progressive lens manufactured with the most advanced technology available, FREE FORM Digital. Thanks to its unique design and advanced aspheric compensation, NEXUS provides perfect vision. NEXUS lenses offer a wide visual field and a flat base curves. Its off-center design allows customers to choose from a variety of frames, which is advantageous when a sunglass is selected due to its larger size. Unique design Base curves selection Controlled thickness Ideal for reading Large near vision zone Easy and fast adaptation Oblique astigmatism minimized Corridor Length (mm) Min Fit. Height Lower Pupil (mm)
GS NEXUS GS, more than a simple progressive lens, it s a customized lens which adapts itself to the user with precision. It s manufactured with the most advanced technology available, FREE FORM Digital. Various parameters are taken into account in order to adapt the lenses to the wearer and to the frame, offering the best visual quality possible. In addition to the standard parameters, the following measures need to be provided to order NEXUS GS. 1. Pantoscopic tilt 2. Vertex distance 3. Wrap angle Wide visual field Easy and fast adaptation Real comfort Soft transition between visual fields Clear vision in every direction Oblique astigmatism minimized Wide peripheral vision Pantoscopic tilt Vertex distance Wrap angle Corridor Length (mm) Min Fit. Height Lower Pupil (mm)
Officio NEXUS Officio offers a precise design that appears as a solution to all professionals who require an intensive use of the near and intermediate vision. Seven powers of degression, 0.75, 1.00, 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.00 and 2.25 diopter guarantee that all wearers will find the best adapted degression. Near vision point is held at 14 mm below the pupil. The long corridor provides an instant feeling of comfort and adaptation. Unwanted effects such as distortions caused by the lateral astigmatism zones are minimized. Around 65% of the degression is reached at pupil level, making it easier for wearers to find the intermediate vision. Due to this pupil positioning, head movements are decreased, avoiding neck and shoulders problems. This design will be ideal for wearers who read, paint, play musical instruments or practice manual tasks. Clear and wide vision from reading distance up to 4 meters Soft design that eliminates distortion Easy and fast adaptation Seven available degressions Clear: 1.5, 1.58, 1.6 (MR-8), 1.67 (MR-7), 1.74, 1.53 Trivex, 1.59 Poly Corridor Length (mm) 11 Min Fit. Height Center Pupil (mm) 18 Addition Powe Distance in meters * 0.5 m 1 m 1.33 m 2 m 4 m infinite ,75-1, ,75-1,00-1, ,75-1,00-1,25-1, ,75-1,00-1,25-1,50-1, ,00-1,25-1,50-1,75-2, ,25-1,50-1,75-2,00-2, ,50-1,75-2,00-2, ,75-1,75-2,00-2, ,00-2,00-2, ,25-2,25 * Distance in meters, in which it is possible to see through the upper part of the lens. 5 Short NEXUS Short is a progressive lens manufactured with the FREE FORM Digital technology. These lenses have small corridors, which allow the user to choose small frames while having a perfect vision for each distance. Its soft design offers first time progressive lens wearers, an easy and instant adaptation. Fast adaptation Real comfort, even in the peripheral zone Good performance for any type of wearers Wide visual fields Astigmatism reduced Corridor Length (mm) Min Fit. Height Center Pupil (mm)
Drive Driving is a task that has very specific optical requirements. NEXUS Drive has been developed to adapt the lenses to this type of far vision and has been enhanced to provide the wearer with a perfect view of the road. Due to the location of the mirrors and the digital devices, power distribution has been specially designed to allow wearers to drive without unnecessary head movements. NEXUS Drive is also ideal to watch wide screen television or to watch a film at the theater. Clear wide vision in every direction Adjusted power distribution for driving Wide corridor and soft transition for visual comfort Low values of unwanted astigmatism to improve dynamic vision Corridor Length (mm) 12 Min Fit. Height Center Pupil (mm) 21
Sport Nowadays, progressive lens users practice more and more sports. Therefore, it makes sense to develop a progressive lens that will provide them with the best optical quality possible. Dynamic vision is the key to these types of lenses. NEXUS Sport has been manufactured for the particular visual needs that arise during the practice of sports. NEXUS Sport offers a sport design conceived to focus on objects slightly away from the user. It is particularly effective and comfortable for the perception of objects such as a clock, a pulse meter, a speedo meter or a compass Sport frames usually have a large size and steep base curves. The lenses compensate these effects thanks to the optimization and are compatible with any sport frame. Clear wide vision in every direction Wide corridor and low values of unwanted astigmatism for visual comfort Adjusted near vision for a clear view of the sport equipment Ergonomic position of the head and body during sports activities Oblique astigmatism reduced Corridor Length (mm) 12 Min Fit. Height Center Pupil (mm) 21
AF NEXUS AF is an innovative design that reduces visual fatigue. It allows the eyes to rest when reading, working on computers or playing video games. Ideal wearers for this type of lens are people who spend much time using their near vision. The muscles that surround the crystalline become tired and cause visual fatigue. The most frequent symptoms are dryness, red eyes and headaches. NEXUS AF reduces eye strain thanks to the addition in the bottom part of the lens. NEXUS AF is available in 0.50 diopter and 0.75 diopter. NEXUS AF50 has an addition of 0.50D. It is especially useful to people who spend much time working on computers. Thanks to the addition in the bottom part of the lens, working on computers becomes more comfortable as the eyes get less tired. NEXUS AF75 has an addition of 0.75D. This addition allows wearers to read more easily. Due to the proximity of the object, the eyes need power to focus. Thanks to the 0.75 addition provided by this design, visual fatigue decreases. Clear wide vision in every direction A wide corridor Low values of unwanted astigmatism for visual comfort Corridor Length (mm) 9 Min Fit. Height Lower Pupil (mm) 14
Epura HD Epura HD FREE FORM Digital is a unique lens and is manufactured specifically for the individual seeking the best in corrective eyewear. The production of each Epura HD lenses is calculated to be surfaced at 0.01 diopter, compared to an ordinary stock lens, which ranges from to 0.25 diopter. Achieving this level of precision involves the requirements of many additional parameters and measurements, such as pantoscopic tilt, vertex distance and wrap angle, which are not usually provided in a pair of regular stock lenses. This ultimate single vision lens offers an optical solution for high wrap sunglasses, sport frames and high corrections. These lenses come engraved like a progressive lens providing the laboratory technician the ability to accurately fit the lens to the frame. The letters HD are engraved on the lens distinguishing them from stock or regular surfaced lenses. Epura HD FREE FORM Digital will benefit all wearers who have not been completely satisfied with their corrective lenses. Perfect correction on the surface of the lens High visual quality Ideal for high cylinder powers Reduced aberrations in the lens periphery
