Young children who may find it challenging to sit through worship are encouraged to use our wellstaffed nursery. Christian Sympathy... is extended to the family of Ed Wade on his recent death and also to Matt Coppage on the death of his father. Please keep these families in your prayers. Welcome This morning we are grateful to have Rev. Shari Dobyns preach and lead worship while Dr. Burns is away on vacation. He will be out of the office this week and return to the pulpit next Sunday. Communion... will be observed at all services next Sunday. Anyone who has been baptized in any Christian Church is welcome to receive the Lord s Supper at Crestwood. Fall Basketball Skills Academy Six-week program held on Monday evenings open to girls and boys in 4th 8th grades led by two, local experienced Master Co-Coaches. 4 Affirmation of Faith from the Heidelberg Catechism Hymn No. 93 Question 1. What is your only comfort in life and death? Answer. That I am not my own, but belong body and soul, in life and in death to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood, and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil. He also watches over me in such a way that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven; in fact, all things must work together for my salvation. Because I belong to him, Christ, by his Holy Spirit, assures me of eternal life and makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him.
