2 Cross Infection is now a major concern for patient safety throughout all aspects of medical care. Anaesthetic and Airway Devices need to be reprocessed efficiently through a central sterilisation facility to minimise or remove the risk of transferring infections from patient to patient. However, with the growing problems surrounding resilient virus strains and prions, effective sterilisation through reprocessing, can not always be guaranteed. Single Use Airway Products are now a vital part of combating infections in Anaesthesia. The pouches and boxes have a colour coded label for easy identification of the different size blades. 4 EUROPA - standard light single use laryngoscope blades Our unique Europa Laryngoscope blades are now recognised throughout the U.K. as the benchmark to which all other single use blades are judged. Despite being virtually indistinguishable from a reusable blade, Europa blades are unbeatably priced. Our Europa blades were developed over 3 years ago to provide a real alternative to reusable laryngoscope blades in a low cost, single use design, but without compromising on pattern design or clinical performance. 7 TIMESCO - Diamond Disposable Resuscitators (BVM) Timesco Diamond Disposable Resuscitators (Adult 1400ml, child 900ml or 520ml* and infant 320ml) are all supplied complete with oxygen tubing, oxygen reservoir bag and a suitably sized anatomical facemask (Adult - size 5, child - size 3, infant size 1).
