Goals and Objectives Time management skills will allow nursing students to learn how to use their time efficiently in varius working environments where they have different roles and responsibilities after graduation. 6
INTRODUCTION Time is an essential resource everyone possesses equally but fails to utilize at the same level due to variety of reasons. It is not a resource that can be stored. It is compulsory to use time efficient and effective. Khatib A.S. (2014). Time management and ıts relation to students stress, gender and academic achievement among sample of students at Al Ain University of science and technology, UAE. International Journal of Business and Systems Research, 4(5),
Time management has been referred to as: A technique for effective time use, especially having enough time to accomplish the many tasks required planning and allocating time* The degree to which individuals perceive their use of time to be structured and purposive* A way of getting insight into time use** A technique to increase the time available to pursue activities** *Claessens B.J.C., Eerde W., Rute C.G., Roe R.A. (2007). A review of the time management literatüre. Personnel Review, 36 (2), **Oettıngen G, Kappes H.B., Guttenberg K.B., Gollwıtzer P.M. (2015). Self-regulation of time management: Mental contrasting with implementation intentions. European Journal of Social Psychology,45:
INTRODUCTION The concept of time management for busy college students in education and training pace is even more important.* The success of the university students depends on their ability to manage time properly.** It is considered that the nursing students who have the ability to manage time effectively, will provide better quality nursing care after graduation. *Karaköse T. The relationship between medical students time management skills and academic achivement. Ethno Med 2015;9(1): **Trapmann, S, Hell B, Hill JW, Schuler H. 10 Aim This study was carried out in order to determine students. time management skills of nursing Research questions: 1- How is time management of the nursing students' attitudes? 2- What are the factors affecting the attitudes of nursing students time management? 10
Material and Method This is a cross sectional study and was carried out at Gulhane Military Medical Academy (GMMA), School of Nursing between April-June The study population is consisted of 298 students. As data collection forms, a student information form, which was developed by researchers and Time Management Inventory (TMI) were used. 11
Material and Method Data were analyzed using Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 15.0 software. Means, standard deviations, and frequencies were used as descriptive statistics for the study variables. In analyzing the data, Student s t-test, one-way ANOVA, Kruskal- Wallis, Mann-Whitney U tests were used. 12
Results Sociodemographic characteristics of the participants: % was among the age group 1st class 42.6 %, 2nd class 19.1%, 3rd class 23.5 %,4th class % 14, % of the students have siblings

Conclusion We have identified that nursing students have mid-level time management skills (90.86±12.25). We have seen that students are generally caught on time traps (perfectionism, lack of communication, being unplanned, to deal with the details, inability to set priorities). It is necessary to provide training and consultancy regarding management skills. time 21
Conclusion It is vital to motivate students to manage their time efficiently and determine their goals and priorities. Managing time efficiently means that the indivial can control his life. Programs aimed enhancing time management skills should have been as a part of universities guidance service. 22
