1 TERTIARY EDUCATION GRANT APPLICATION INFORMATION Tertiary Education Grants are only available within New Zealand. Charitable Company Limited (CCL) provides a range of Education Grants across the full education spectrum, from pre-school to tertiary education. This document applies to Tertiary Grants ONLY. All Tertiary Grants are available to those persons listed as owners of the Trust land as recorded in the register maintained by the Trust, being the Beneficial Owners, and their descendants (please note that spouses/partners are not eligible to apply for education grants). Tertiary Grants are available for either part-time or full-time study. 1. Tertiary Grants i. Full-time Study ($1,000 per annum) a. Applications are due by 31 March in the year to which the grant relates (late applications will not be considered). b. Successful applicants receive $ upon proof of enrolment from the tertiary education provider. c. The remaining $ will be paid upon receipt by CCL of students official academic transcript showing d. In the case of enrolment in tertiary courses that charge no fees, the costs associated with the course of study, i.e. computer, text books, etc. may be applied for and will be considered by the Directors. Quotes must be provided to CCL with the application. Successful applicants will receive the grant payments as per (b) and (c) above. ii. Part-time Study ($500 per annum) a. Applications may be made at any time, provided that the application is received by CCL prior to the commencement of the part-time study. b. Successful applicants receive $ upon proof of enrolment from the tertiary education provider. c. The remaining $ will be paid upon receipt by CCL of students official academic transcript showing d. In the case of enrolment in tertiary courses that charge no fees, the costs associated with the course of study, i.e. computer, text books, etc. may be applied for and will be considered by the Directors. Quotes must be provided to CCL with the application. Successful applicants will receive the grant as per (b) and (c) above. Tertiary Grants do not roll-over from one year to the next and must be applied for annually/per course.
