On behalf of the entire JTC management, we are delighted to wish you and your families a healthy and happy holiday for the occasion of Eid ul Fitr as we celebrate the culmination of Ramadan and the beginning of Shaw waal, the tenth month of the Islamic Calendar. To Doha, Qatar P.O. Box 1120, the Muslim nation, may Allah accept all our deeds and grant us paradise. Eid ul Fitr is a very joyous occasion, it is a day of thanksgiving for all believers, men and women alike. On this day, we Muslims show our real joy and appreciation for the health, strength and opportunities of life which Allah has given to us. We express our overflowing gratitude to Him who enable and empower us to fulfill our holy obligation of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims do good deeds and worship, which are essential in proving our love, total devotion and commitment to the one true God Allah. On Eid, parents make time to be with their children to enjoy the happiness and joys of being together with our loved ones both family and friends. For us employees, we relish in the much needed time out to relax and have fun away from the hassles of our working environment. It is also an opportune time for everybody to visit relatives and get in touch and reconnect with our friends. Thus, let it be engraved in our hearts and minds about the importance and significance of our commitment and devotion that we make for our faith and love to Allah. Fax No intense match that was decided via In the spirit of fostering camaraderie and better friendship among sister companies, the Al Jaber Group of Companies recently held its 2nd Ramadan Football Tournament last August at the Cambridge International School Football Field here in Doha, Qatar. The tournament, spearheaded by the Al Jaber Group of Companies, the umbrella organization that has over 60 companies in the group which offers diverse and complementary range of products and services such as contracting, construction, engineering, transportation and heavy equipment among others, started the year 2009 also during the holy month of Ramadan. Al Jaber Group HR Director Mr. Jadallah Nassar with Al Jaber Group Vice Chairman for Finance & Business & Development and JTC CEO Eng. Salah Al Jaber who is also President of the Tournament Organizing Committee. Mr. Mohamed Al Jaber also encouraged the other sister companies to participate and expects more teams to battle it out for the much coveted cup come next year. The tournament kicked off with its qualifying rounds on August 14 with a total of ten teams, composed of manpower from different companies under the group, participated in the tournament which also served as a welcome breather for employees cross-over semifinal rounds wherein the number one ranked team of a group faced the second-ranked team The winners of each match battled it out for the championship as the losers played for third place. After the qualifying rounds, Al Jaber Geo- Tech came out on top in Group A with an accumulated total of 10 points while Al Jaber Engineering (JEC) came in second with 7 points. JEC actually tied with Al Jaber Trading & Contracting (JTC), both with 7 total points but JEC had +10 in goal differentials while JTC had only +8. In Group B, Al Jaber Garage (JGC) ranked first among the teams with 12 penalty shootouts and a sudden death round. The match ended in regulation with a draw at the score of 2-2 and both teams scoring on all 5 goals in the shootout. Eventually, the Al Jaber Group team emerged on top as they outlasted Geo- Tech in the sudden death round that ended with a score of 7-6. Al Jaber Group Vice Chairman for Finance & Business Development and Al Jaber Trading & Contracting Co. CEO Eng. Salah Al Jaber, the moving force behind this annual tournament is the president of the organizing committee. Aside from the physical and health benefits, Eng. Salah conceptualized and envisioned this event as a chance to strengthen the ties between the group s sister companies and for the employees to relax, bond and connect with each other, in an environment that is away from the everyday hassles of work. Al Jaber Group Chairman, Mr. Mohamed Al Jaber, expressed the same sentiments, pointing out that events like these are held not only to promote physical fitness but also to build better understanding and further enhance relationships and friendships among the employees working for different companies under the group. to take a break from the hectic working schedule while office hours are shortened. The final day came on August 28 with much anticipation as both Mr. Mohamed Al Jaber and Eng. Salah Al Jaber, along with other members of the Al Jaber family, graced the championship night.

No , Fax No The score hardly reflected the excitement throughout as the championship match held the atmosphere similar to the world cup with the crowd jumping and screaming while Al Jaber Group (JG), 3 goals to none. JG tallied a qualifying round record of 2 wins, 1 loss with 1 draw and ranked second in the same group. Meanwhile, Group A top-ranking team Al Jaber Geo-Technical, with a qualifying round tally of 3 wins, 0 loss Al Jaber Garage (JGC), who beat Group A second-ranking team Al Jaber Engineering (JEC) in the semis, displayed great poise and teamwork throughout the tournament, beating all members of their rooting for their respective teams the whole night, up to the last minute of the match. Last years champion, Al Jaber Garage (JGC), which ranked first in Group B and held a flawless record of 4 wins with no loss/draws, once again emerged victorious, repeating as champions, beating eventual second-placer group in the qualifying rounds to the tune of 4-2 (v. JG), 8-1 (v. ASC), 5-0 (v. JEM) and 5-2 (v. UNICON). Al Jaber Engineering had a qualifying round tally of 2 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. and 1 draw, placed third over-all in the tournament, beating Al Jaber Engineering (JEC) in the battle for third to the score of 8-0. Congratulations to the Best Goalie Mohd. Fathi of the Al Jaber Group and to the top 4 players who made the most goals: Mohamed Ahmed Mahmoud (8 goals), Reda Abderraouf (7 goals), Mahmoud Yahiya (6 goals), all from Al Jaber Garage, and Saad Jenedy (6 goals) from JTC, who lost to JGC in last years finals match to the score of 3-2.

7 7 Last August 14, Finance Manager Mr. Said Ibrahim sent a memo to all department managers informing them about an act of integrity and honesty that everyone should know of and emulate. Mr. Hesham, JTC Cashier, was mistakenly given an additional amount of QR 60,000 (QAR Sixty Thousand) by the Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB). Upon discovering the mistake, Mr. Hesham did what should be done, he returned the money to the bank without any hesitation. An Act of Honesty and Integrity In turn, the bank issued an appreciation letter to Mr. Hesham for his loyalty, faithfulness, integrity and honesty in performing his duties, not only as an employee of our company, but his duty of doing goodwill and setting a good example for others to follow. Aside from the letter, QIIB also gave Mr. Hesham a Grovana Swiss Watch as token of their appreciation for his heroic act. In these hard times, we are very fortunate to have an employee such as Mr. Hesham, who did not think twice about doing the right thing and not keep the money for himself. A lesser man would ve done the opposite. A lesser man would ve kept silent about the mistake and kept the money instead of Mr. Hesham (2nd from top-left) with some of the former and current accounts personnel. But not Mr. Hesham, whose work as Cashier under the Accounts Department also involves handling money in a daily basis. Some of us might not realize how hard it is and how big the responsibilities are working in the accounts department. And it s really an inspiring and comforting thought that the people whom the company trusts to handle our finances are people who are truthful and trustworthy. For Mr. Hesham did not only bring honor to himself and the Accounts Department with this unselfish and heroic act but to the entire company and its employees as well. Congratulations Mr. Hesham! You have made us all proud.
