Don t leave your ball in a hot car or in direct sunlight as this can lead to a weakening and cracking of the rubber. Before each use the PSI should be checked to ensure optimum performance. To reduce wearing on your GILBERT netball try and avoid use on rough surfaces. SOCIAL MATCH INFLATION TRAINING LEISURE Pull the ball into shape to avoid piercing the bladder when inserting the needle. Moisten the needle with glycerine, vegetable oil or soapy water and insert gently into the valve slowly, using a twisting motion. Inflate ball using a hand pump or compressor to the recommended PSI noted on the ball. Take care not to over inflate your netball as over inflation can lead to stitching coming apart and eggs forming in the ball. Children under the age of 12 should be supervised at all times when using a high pressure air compressor (in addition, always follow manufacturer s instructions for use of electric compressors). Our match and training balls are all fitted with a performance bladder. These bladders will retain air for a maximum of -7 days and will need to have air added to ensure maximum performance after that time. Official match ball of...

Gradually inflate the ball using a hand pump or stirrup pump. If using a compressor or airline care must be shown not to over inflate as it can lead to damage to the ball or can cause the properties of the ball to change.
