First Sunday of the Month We praise you Lord for your greatness, We praise you for your creation. Thank you for the life and joy you give us. Thank you for giving us all we need. Thank you especially for Jesus who died for us, for your Spirit who is with us, and for life with you in heaven. Help us to rejoice together today because of all you have done.. Thank you for your great love, Your salvation and your right judgement. Forgive us for turning away from you and Help us to turn towards you, Living the kind of life you want us to live, Serving you and other people. Father, teach us your ways. Help us to walk in your paths and enable us to tell others of the salvation you bring. Prayer for the People of Sydney (3) with thankful hearts we praise you for your love for all people and your gift of life eternal. Help us to share this love with others. By your Spirit prepare the hearts of those with whom we share your word and in your mercy enable them to put their trust in you. As we connect with them, may they connect with you, and find the peace that passes understanding. We ask this through Jesus, your Son and our Lord.. 1 Timothy 3:16 Jesus was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.
Second Sunday of the Month We thank you Lord that you are King over all the earth. We thank you that you are right and just in all you do. We thank you that you are good and do only what is good. Thank you for sending Jesus as our Saviour.. Forgive us for ignoring you and rebelling against you. We are sorry that we sometimes put other things in first place in our lives. Please forgive us and change us, Help us to live in ways that please you.. For you, O Lord, are the Most High over all the earth; you are exalted far above all gods. Help us to treat you as you deserve, in all we do this week. Apostles Creed We believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, God s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. On the cross he descended into hell. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father and will come again to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy apostolic church, the fellowship of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life eternal.
Third Sunday of the Month Gracious God, we humbly thank you for life and health and safety, for power to work, leisure to rest, and for all that is beautiful in creation and human life. But, above all, we praise you for our Saviour, Jesus Christ, for his death and resurrection, for the gift of your Spirit, and for the hope of sharing in your glory. Fill our hearts with all joy and peace in believing; through Jesus Christ our Lord.. Confession We thank you Father for your everlasting love and that you have adopted us as your children. We thank you that you enable us to do all the good works you prepared for us to do. Yet we know that we still ignore you and reject your will for our lives. We are sometimes stubborn and rebellious, while you remain merciful and kind. Please forgive us, cleanse us and change us, for the sake of your son who died for us. By your Spirit, help us to live for you and to please you in everyway.. Exalt the Lord our God, for he is holy. Father, help us to worship you in all that we do. Colossians 1:15-20 Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - All things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together. He is also the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He might come to have first place in everything. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross whether things on earth or things in heaven. Lord's Prayer Our Father in heaven, Your name be honoured as holy. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven... Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors... And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Fourth Sunday of the Month Thank you Lord that you are the God of all the nations. We praise you because you are great and holy. Thank you that you answer our prayers.. you have loved us with an everlasting love. But we have turned against you, ignoring you and rejecting your will for our lives. We have been stubborn and rebellious, but you are merciful and kind. For the sake of your Son who died for us, forgive us, cleanse us and change us. By your Holy Spirit, enable us to live for you and to please you in every way; through Jesus Christ our Lord.. Father, help us to be more like Jesus. Help us to serve you faithfully and to serve one another thoughtfully.. Hebrews 1:1-2 Long ago God spoke to the fathers by the prophets at different times and in different ways. In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son. God has appointed Him heir of all things and made the universe through Him. to love you above everything else. Grow us and equip us to passionately serve one another and to go into the world
Father, we thank you that you have made us and that we are your people. Thank you for your love and faithfulness which last forever. Thank you for your spirit and life in heaven with you. Thank you especially for Jesus who died and rose again That we might have a new relationship with you. Father forgive us for failing to see you as you really are, the great God and Sovereign of this universe. Forgive us for wanting to live life our way rather than yours Thank you for rescuing us from your anger by sending Jesus. Help us to please you and live for you in all we do. Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory Through our Lord Jesus Christ. Help us always to stand firm and give ourselves fully to the Lord's work. Fifth Sunday of the Month to love you above everything else. Grow us and equip us to passionately serve one another and to go into the world
