1 The Port Canvas Company has in-house embroidery capabilities which allows us to turn around an order in as little as a day. We maintain a good library of fonts from you to choose from. Below and on the following pages, you will see each font spelled out for your careful consideration of the letters you are selecting. Some combinations of letters look much better than others - if we see one we don t like, we will contact you with another recommendation. SOME THOUGHTS If you want to write out the name of the recipient, boat or house, keep in mind space is typically limited. If it is a large name like Wildenauer, it will be done in smaller letters than a short name like Jones. We have a good feel for what looks classic in terms of size and adjust accordingly. If you desire something like The River House, we will typically center and stack the names. We will arrange words for the very best presentation. The River House LETTER ARRANGEMENT Please enter the first, middle and last name initial in the appropriate boxes provided. The Port Canvas Company will arrange them according to the font style you have selected. With Diamond, Serifs Traditional and Curlicue, the last name initial will be put in the center. COST Traditional Monogram: $6.00/Application Directors Chair and Laundry Bag Monogram: $12.00/Per Application SPECIAL NOTE Please note that monogrammed or embroidered items are not returnable unless the mistake is that of the Port Canvas Company. 3 BLOCK (BL) FONT and small text. We don t recommend it for letters larger than 1.25 such as you might find on Laundry Bags or Directors Chair Covers. It most closely emulates Helvetica as it is sans serif. CENTURY (CY) FONT and text. This is the preferred font for Laundry Bags, Directors Chair Covers and Monogrammed Key Chains. It most closely emulates Times. STYMIE (SE) FONT and text. This is very good for large applications on Laundry Bags and Directors Chair Covers. It most closely emulates Courier.

4 ATHLETIC SCRIPT (AC) FONT and text. This is the preferred script font for Laundry Bags and Directors Chair Covers. The closest script it emulates might be Brush Script. KIDS (KS) FONT This is a fun font enjoyed by many customers with a playful sense of humour. Used for children s initials, it can also be employed for full boat or house names. SERIFS AND SERIFS TRADITIONAL FONT This is a very classic font which lends it self well to a straight three or four letter monogram (First, Middle and Last Name Initials). It also works well when the last name initial is in the center and larger than the two flanking First and Middle Name Letters.

5 DIAMOND FONT This is the most classic font where the Last Name initial is always largest and in the center. To the left is the First Name initial and to the right Middle Name initial. The Diamond Font comes in two flavors with or without the < >. The designations are: With < > Diamond (DI) Without < > Diamond (-DI-)
