1 Prayer of Acceptance Gracious God, I give thanks for the gift of your love and mercy which knows no end. I give thanks for Jesus Christ who lived, died and rose again that I may know true life in his name. Today I confess my sins, all the actions and attitudes that keep me from loving you and loving others. Lord have mercy and forgive me for those things I have said and left unsaid. Lord have mercy and forgive me for those things I have done and left undone. In the knowledge of your mercy, I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life and my savior. I turn my life over to You today. Please make me a new creature through Your Holy Spirit and change my heart. Help me walk in Your ways as You reveal yourself to me. Thank You Jesus for dying for my sins. I accept Your gift of salvation today and confess that You are Lord. Amen

2 The Lords Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. 4 A Prayer for Healing Divine Healer; touch us all in our points of frailty. We pray for the physically ill that you will restore them. We pray for the emotionally sick that you will lift them to wholeness. We pray for the aged that your Spirit may give them a youthful, eager state of mind. We pray for the depressed and discouraged that your spirit may lift their spirits. Heal us all, Lord, lest in thinking ourselves strong we become infected by the world, and wander away from you. 8 A Prayer of Unknowing Like your disciples on the road to Emmaus, we are so often incapable of seeing that you, O Christ, are our companion on the way. But, when our eyes are opened, we realize that you were speaking to us, even though perhaps we had forgotten you. Then the sign of our trust in you is that, in our turn, we try to love, to forgive with you.
