8 ASHA Certification Standard IV-A The applicant must have transcript credit for each of the following areas: Biological sciences biology, human anatomy and physiology, neuroanatomy /neurophysiology, genetics, or veterinary sciences Physical sciences physics or chemistry Social/behavioral sciences - psychology, sociology, anthropology, or public health Statistics - stand-alone statistics course, min. B- Courses specifically related to communication sciences and disorders (CSD) may not be applied for certification purposes in this category. 1/11/2013 8
