19 Ecolabels Initiatives and Impact (Future) Ecolabels EPA has the lead. EPA planning a pilot in Impact Identifies guidance for non-government owned ecolabels for purchase. Neutral third party verifies claims of sustainable attributes are true. 18

20 Certifying Your Products and Services Small businesses can go to for Energy Star, WaterSense, and Design for the Environment labeling requirements. offers a USDA certified Biobased label for BioPreferred and other biobased product certifications. 19
