Pressing the Sound Select button will change the sound to ORGAN. When the ORGAN sound is selected, the LED indicator above the Sound Select button will start flashing. To return to the PIANO sound, simply press the Sound Select button again. PRELUDE MUSIC (Demo Song) The L1-LDS has built-in prelude music. To select prelude music, press the DEMO button. The L1-LDS will automatically play brief prelude music consisting of several hymn tunes. To stop the prelude music, press the DEMO button again at any time. HYMNS AND CHILDREN'S SONGS (Concert Magic Button) Absolutely anyone can sit at the L1-LDS Digital Piano/Organ and play the hymns and children's songs of the Church - even it you've never taken a piano lesson in your life. To enjoy performing by yourself, you have only to choose your favorite hymn or children's song from the 88 pre-recorded selections. Concert Magic will automatically play it. Alternatively, you can set the desired rhythm, tempo and volume by steadily tapping any key. Concert Magic will provide the correct melody and accompaniment notes, regardless of which keys you press. (1) Selecting a Hymn or Children's Song The 88 hymns and children's songs are assigned to each of the 88 white and black keys in alphabetical order. All of the titles are listed on the following page. To make a selection, press the key that corresponds to your desired hymn or children's song while holding down the CONCERT MAGIC button. (2) Listening to a Selection Press the PLAY/STOP button. The L1-LDS will start playing back the selection. To listen to a different hymn or song, repeat the procedure above for selecting a song and press the PLAY/STOP button again. When you are finished listening, press the PLAY/STOP button again to stop. (3) Performing a Selection Concert Magic will automatically play each selection. Alternatively, you can set the desired rhythm, tempo and volume by steadily tapping any one of the 88 white or black keys on the piano keyboard. Concert Magic will provide the correct melody and accompaniment notes, regardless of which keys you press. As you tap harder, the notes will get louder. As you tap softer, the notes will get quieter. As you tap faster, the notes speed up. As you tap slower, the notes will slow down correspondingly, just like regular piano playing. You can sound like you've been playing for years just by pressing one key with one finger. 2
