1 JESUS CAN TAKE CARE OF ME If He can paint a sunset in the western sky, If He can make the sun to rise up in the East, If He can rise up from the grave after dying on the tree Then I know Jesus, He can take care of me. If He can walk on the water where I am. If He can calm the raging storms when my ship is going down Then why should I worry when I have this peace. I know Jesus can take care of me. If He could save the Hebrew children from the fire If He could rescue Daniel form the lion s teeth. And for the children of Israel, He could part the Red Sea. Then I know Jesus can take care of me. 2X I know Jesus can take care of me.

2 TILL THE STORM PASSES BY Out on the waters storms raging high, the waters around them were trouble that night, fear filled their hearts they felt they would die, they failed to remember that the Master was nigh, He spoke the words and winds all stood still even the waters obey His will, He calmed their storms like He will mine, if I just remember He lives deep inside. Why should I worry why should I fear, when the very same Jesus He stays always near, He lives in my heart and He hears when I cry, I ll call on His name till the storm passes by. We read in the Bible when He walked with them, brought light to the darkness when the way grew dim, how great it would be to have His footsteps in mine, and walk with the Master all of the time, And when trials come and death seems so nigh, I ll call on the Master I know He ll get there on time, and when sickness comes and my body s in pain all I have to do is call on His name. REPEAT I ll call on His name till the storm passes by.

5 FOR THE CHILDREN S SAKE WHEN I LOOK AT MY CHILDREN, MY HEART SWELLS WITH PRIDE WHEN I THINK OF ALL THEY ARE AND ALL THEY HAVE INSIDE BUT THEN I LOOK AROUND AND SEE EVIL'S RISING TIDE AND IT LETS ME KNOW I CANNOT LEAVE, I MUST STAND BY THEIR SIDE FOR THE SAKE OF MY CHILDREN I WILL GUARD THE GATE AND IF I MUST STAND ALONE I'M NOT GOING ANYPLACE WHILE ENTERTAINERS PREACH PERVERSION WITH THEIR FINGERS IN OUR FACE I WILL LIFT THE HOLY BIBLE, GET DOWN ON MY KNEES I WILL TAKE A STAND FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS WHATEVER IT COSTS ME OUR NATION'S LOST HER VALUES OUR LEADERS WALKED AWAY SO IT'S UP TO YOU AND ME TO RISE AND STAND FOR THE CHILDREN'S SAKE RECITATION MANY ARE STARTING TO ASK, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO OUR YOUNG PEOPLE?! TEEN PREGNANCY IS AT AN ALL-TIME HIGH; SEX, DRUGS AND ALCOHOL ARE WORDS AMERICA'S CHILDREN ALL TOO MANY TIMES HAVE LEARNED FROM EXPERIENCE. AND SCHOOL SHOOTINGS HAVE LET US KNOW THAT THIS NATION'S CHILDREN HAVE OVERDOSED ON VIOLENCE THROUGH TELEVISION, MOVIES, MUSIC AND VIDEO GAMES. KIDS KILLING KIDS AND TEACHERS AT THE SCHOOLHOUSE. AND FORTY YEARS AGO, TEACHERS LISTED AS THEIR NUMBER ONE CLASSROOM PROBLEM: GUM CHEWING IN CLASS. MAYBE THE QUESTION WE SHOULD BE ASKING IS, AND WHERE ARE THE PARENTS? WHERE ARE THE PARENTS WHEN THE CABLE ASKS IF THEY WANT THE MOVIE CHANNELS IN THEIR HOMES AND THEY SAY YES, OPENING UP TO THEIR CHILDREN THE MOST GRAPHIC VIOLENCE, THE MOST PERVERTED SEXUAL ACTIVITY, AND AN ALMOST CONSTANT CURSING OF GOD'S NAME. NO MATTER WHAT HOLLYWOOD SAYS, OUR CHILDREN ARE IMITATORS OF WHAT THEY SEE AND HEAR. HOW DO YOU THINK THEY LEARNED TO WALK, TALK AND EAT? IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN, GET THE EVIL INFLUENCES OF HOLLYWOOD'S HELLISH MOVIES OUT OF YOUR HOME. WHERE ARE THE PARENTS WHEN YOUNGSTERS SIT FOR HOURS BEING TAUGHT HOW TO KILL BY VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES? WHERE ARE THE PARENTS WHEN ROCK MUSIC BLARES FROM THE STEREO IN THEIR CHILDREN'S BEDROOM AND THEY SIT SURROUNDED BY POSTERS OF ROCK AND ROLL'S MOST CELEBRATED ENTERTAINERS ON THEIR WALLS? MOM AND DAD, THESE SONGS PROMOTE RAPE, SATANISM, TEEN SEX, AND THEY GLORIFY THE USE OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL. PARENTS, THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR YOUR CHILDREN'S HEROES TO BE THE GREEN-HAIRED, EARRING WEARING, PERVERTED LYRIC SINGING, DEVIL PROMOTING ROCK STARS OF THIS GENERATION. TEAR DOWN THE POSTERS, GET RID OF THE CD'S AND CASSETTES. THEY HAVE NO PLACE IN THE HOME OF A CHILD OF GOD, AND IT IS YOUR HOME - YOU ARE IN CHARGE, AND GOD EXPECTS YOU TO KEEP IT PURE. I HAVE TOO MUCH INVESTED IN MY CHILDREN. I HAVE LOVED THEM TOO MUCH, PRAYED FOR THEM TOO LONG, WALKED THE FLOOR AND CRADLED THEIR FEVERED BODIES AT MIDNIGHT TOO MANY TIMES TO LET A GOVERNMENT THAT'S LOST ITS RESPECT FOR GOD, OR A HOLLYWOOD THAT'S FOCUSED ON CORRUPTING THE MORALS OF A NATION, OR A ROCK STAR WHO SPITS IN THE FACE OF GOD STEAL THE MINDS OF MY CHILDREN OR TELL ME HOW THEY OUGHT TO BE RAISED. THEY ARE MY CHILDREN AND IT IS MY JOB, AND I WILL DO MY DUTY UNTIL GOD RELIEVES ME, AND I WILL DO IT FOR THE SAKE OF MY CHILDREN.

7 I M GOING HOME WITH JESUS I'm going home with Jesus, in the twinkling of an eye. I've made my reservation, for a mansion in the sky. I may not know the moment, or I may not know the day, But I know that I'll be leavin', when He calls His church away. I'm listenin' for the trumpet, to sound most any time, And a crown of life that waiting, thank God will soon be mine. I got my invitation, thru a place called calvary, By the precious blood of Jesus, the trips been paid for me. The captain of the vessel, He's calling get on aboard, And the destinations heaven, safe on that crystal shore. Where we'll meet with the Saviour, and our loved ones who have gone, We'll live through all eternity, thank God I'm going home. I may not know the moment, or I may not know the day, But I know that I'll be leavin', when He calls His church away.

9 DIDN T I WALK ON THE WATER? As I kneel in the darkness in the middle of the night, I'm praying for assurance everything's gonna be alright. Lord I see another battle out in front of me and I'm afraid I won't be able, and I'll go down in defeat. He said, do you remember where I brought you from? Just take a look behind you at how far you've come. And everytime you asked me, didn't I deliver you? So why would you be thinking that I wouldn't see you through. He said, I walked on the water and I calmed the raging sea. I spoke to the wind, it hushed and gave you peace. Didn't I run to your rescue didn't I hear you when you called? I walked right beside you just so you wouldn't fall. Didn't I leave all of Heaven just to die for your sin? I searched until I found you and I'd do it all again. VERSE 3 Now your talking to your father in a house that was once a home Said my bills are coming due lord and three days are not that long But then you hear a voice so softly say I've moved like that before I can do this little thing and i can give you so much more. 10 FIELD OF GRACE Clouds are disappearing, skies are turning blue Only just a while ago, I told Him I was through He did not rebuke me, but with arms of strong embrace Picked me up and carried me into a field of grace Where all is quiet leaning on His breast He pulled me from a stormy sea to a place where I could rest Told me I was loved, told me I was safe And I could stay til healing came in this holy field of grace Have to pass through deserts, have to face strong winds But I don't dread them all that much, I know He'll come again Lead me to still waters, there He'll let me stay Til my soul has been restored in His healing field of grace
