7 ATN: STANDARDIZATION process framework PROJECTS ITER - F4E (FUSION FOR ENERGY) CE Marking Support Define and execute baseline rules to guide item s assessment for CE marking based on the main common directives into F4E scope: EMCD, LVD, MD, PED, CPD Provision of Dual Use Export Control Compliance Support Set-up and maintenance of the Dual Use Export Control Compliance Programme, audits and training Industrialisation and procurement of the ITER Interlock Discharge Loop Interface Boxes (DLIB) To complete the final design of the CIS Discharge Loop Interface Boxes (DLIB) and procure 150 units required for ITER hardwired interlocks Functional safety Requirements: IEC > SIL-3 Compliance EC DG ENTERPRISE AND INDUSTRY EGNOS enabled labeling and SDK validation To implement a formal certification process framework to have such a verification procedure properly acknowledged as technical specification across the EU, according to consumer electronics industrial practices 7

9 ATN: STANDARDIZATION process framework H2020 WP Our contribution as a partner CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROTECTION - CIP The use of light RPAS in private security activities performed by private service providers for critical infrastructure protection 9 The project aims at the development of a product conformity standard for RPAS and its components starting from the technical specification developed, with the involvement of a Standardization Organization, contribution of all interested parties, including the industry across the EU. The project envisages studying the state of the art of critical components and equipment used in commercial light RPAS intended for security applications, identifying the specifications and verification methods required for the development of reliable, safe and cyber-secure RPAS that perform adequately in different environments without jeopardizing the integrity and reliability of the security operations for which they are intended. This will give rise to product conformity standards for RPAS intended to security applications.
