1 AMBASSADOR OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Ensure you are eligible to apply for the scholarship by reading the eligibility criteria below 2. Complete the CSUF Ambassador of International Education Scholarship Application 3. Write a 500 word essay explaining how study abroad will help you achieve academic, professional, and personal goals and the types of classes you intend to take while abroad 4. Ask two faculty members to fill out the attached reference forms. The reference forms must be completed by college or university faculty whom you have taken a course with 5. A study abroad program budget 6. If you receive financial aid, a print out of your Award Summary (available on New Titan Online) 7. Obtain one current unofficial transcript 8. Submit the items below to the Study Abroad Office by the due date: A completed scholarship application Your scholarship essay 2 x reference forms Study abroad program budget Financial aid award summary (if applicable) Unofficial transcripts from your most recent school attended ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA FOR THE CSUF AMBASSADOR OF INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP 1. Minimum cumulative GPA of Candidate should be a degree seeking students at CSUF 3. Selection of scholarship recipients will be based of review of the candidate s application 4.
