When it comes to the secondary backing, New Shapes has no functional limitation either. New Shapes can be equipped with both Back2Back modified backing and dback acoustic backing. The scaled geometric nature of New Shapes ensures an effortless installation and makes it easy to replace or change your floor design. Easy to install Thanks to the geometric principle adopted by New Shapes, this modular collection is simple to install, whether ashlar, brick ashlar, herringbone, monolithic or random. 11 Just like conventional modulyss modular flooring, New Shapes delivers the performance required to meet the demands of busy spaces. EN 1307 This is the standard by which all modular carpet is judged, right across Europe. A standardised assessment of the technical performance of modular carpet, EN 1307 looks at castor chair suitability, light fastness, sound absorption, impact noise rating and more. New Shapes fully complies. Use class The use class indicates just how durable the carpet can be. Commercial applications can be either Class 32 Commercial General or Class 33 Commercial Heavy. New Shapes upholds the Use Class of the modulyss carpet tile collections. Fire safety New Shapes is certified to the strictest European standard for fire safety, achieving a Bfl-s1 classification, the highest possible class for textile floorcoverings. Environmental credentials Whether Back2Back modified backing or dback, both secondary backings are made with recycled content, reducing the impact on the environment. 11
