You can get help if you qualify. n You must be the person responsible for your household energy bill; n You must currently have an electricity or natural gas account; n You must have gone 12 months since you last received help from LIHEAP; Congress has greatly increased funds to help needy, qualified families in Louisiana with their utility bills. If you need this help, and think you may qualify, please talk with your local. This is a government service. There is no charge to find out if you qualify.
