Analytical Balance (Denver Instrument) Max: 220 g±0,1 mg sensitivity It is used in precise weighing of appropriate quantities of the samples and chemicals for the analyzer instruments in the laboratory. 3 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Analytical Balance (RADWAG AS220 C/2) Max: 220 g±0,1 mg sensitivity It is used in precise weighing of appropriate quantities of the samples and chemicals for the analyzer instruments in the laboratory. 4 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS) (PinAAcle 900F) Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS), is both used in laboratory analysis of chemical processes as well as in daily life for the compatibility analysis of elements that cause water pollution, soil pollution and air pollution in accordance with their limit amounts. 5 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Fume Hood (Tezsan) This is an air lifting cabinet in which toxic gas or fragrance relasing reactions during solution preparation and use as well as chemical processes are performed and which provides the safe discharge of environmentally harmful gases. 6 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Etüv (Memmert) They are heating, baking or drying purpose laboratory ovens with different volumes and of which the temperature can be adjusted between 60 C and 250 C by analog or digital thermostats. 7 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

ICP Mass Spectrometer (PerkinElmer NexION 300X) ICP- mass spectrometer (MS) is a cutting edge chemical analysis method which allows quick, inexpensive, precise and accurate; qualitative, quantitative or semi-quantitative measurement of a multitude of elements in solid and liquid samples. ICP-MS device is used in determining elements contained in ores, concentrates, waste, industrial raw materials, water and mineral/industrial wastewater. 8 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Magnetic Stirrer (IKA) Magnetic stirrer is a device which provides mixing and keeping the chemical solutions and mixtures at a certain time and temperature by the help of a magnetic bar. 9 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Masa Tipi ph metre (Metler Toledo) It is used to determine the ph of the solutions prior to experiments and to monitor ph value during experiments. 10 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Water Bath (Memmert) It is a water filled temperature adjustable equipment used for maintaining solution and mixture samples in containers such as glass tubes, glass bottles, beakers, flasks, etc. at constant temperature during the experiments. 11 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Single Water Distillation Aparatus (GFL 2004) It is used for obtaining distilled water for experiments and washing general laboratory equipment. 12 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department

Ashing Furnace (Carbolite) It is used as furnace in which a necessary high heat treatment is applied to samples before chemical experiments. In this furnace, loss of ignition of materials and ash content of post combustion of solid fuels such as coal is determined. 13 Adana Science and Technology University-Bioengineering Department
