12 CornerTape CornerTape is a tool that ensures simple masking of corners before applying joint filler/silicone. The masking will be straight and parallel and the gap between the corner and the tape will be the same on both sides. The joint filler/silicone is then simply and cleanly applied in the set gap of the tape. All silicone sealed joints have a limited lifespan. Over time they will discolour and dry out. This means water might seep in, causing rot and mildew. According to silicone sealant manufacturers, the silicone joints in bathrooms should be renewed every 3-5 years. In countries where cement-based joint fillers are used for corners, cracks appear after only a short time. We recommend using silicone and CornerTape together, for a longer-lasting finish. Flexible joint fillers such as silicone and acrylic are used in corners as this allows for any movement. It is always hard to achieve a good finish in these corners. CornerTape is a masking tool for achieving perfect joints. Every packet of CornerTape includes a specially designed joint former, suitable for the width of the chosen CornerTape. The tape is very thin, extremely strong and does not split when removed. The result is a perfect joint!

Check the depth of your tile, as tile trim comes in various sizes. They are available in a selection of colours, finishes and sizes. Sizes from 7mm - 15mm and 30mm for borders. This is a gigantic advertising hoarding, which towers over the M6 motorway, and has become a local landmark. This is just the third time that this sign has been replaced, and is clearly visible to 883,000 drivers that pass every week between junctions eight and nine. The three tier stand has now been re-named the Tile Choice Stand, and has created great interest in the local press. The sign has a total of 52 advertising panels measuring a massive 10 feet by 5 feet each, and had to be fixed by abseilers employed by a team of signage professionals making this the largest illuminated sign in europe. Help in the hour of need In January 2012 the Whitehouse family who live in lower Gornal Dudley, invited DIY SOS team to help them in their hour of need. They contacted the television programme after struggling to finish a much-needed extension to their cramped house. Parents Joanne and Wayne want to create new bedrooms for their children who suffer from Fragile X Syndrome. After remorgaging their home and spending 27,000 on starting the extension they ran into money troubles and were left at their wits end and still craving more space. When we heard that the popular BBC T.V series DIY SOS with Nick Knowles and the team were in our local area Dudley. We immediately approached there researcher to see if there was anything Tile Choice could do to help them in completing the project. DIY SOS were really pleased that we were offering our help and support, and came to visit our Tile Choice Bilston store to see what tiles they would like. After a brief look around the store we were delighted to be supplying them with bathroom wall tiles, floor tiles, and also the materials to complete the job. When we delivered the tiles to the house everyone who was working on the house was really upbeat and really pleased to have been helping this family rebuild their home.
