1 8 915 UNIGYR Front cassettes for process units PAF112/L PAF112/P PAF112/B Three different front cassettes are available for the PRU2, PRU1064 and PRS1082 process units: LCD front cassette for paperless operation of UNIGYR BLN process units Operating booklet front cassettes to insert sets of operating pages Blind cassette for process units without local operation Use The LCD front cassette PAF112/L allows for displaying texts from all operating pages of all process units on the same BLN bus and operating the corresponding plant elements and user programs The same applies to the service and diagnostic pages Today's operating booklet pages (so called PopCards) can be inserted in the fold-out operating booklet front cassette PAF112/P The optical encoding of the pages is read and allows for operation and monitoring of the corresponding plant elements and programs The blind cassette PAF112/B is designed for process units where operation is to occur exclusively from process units with one of the two cassettes or from an operator station (DESIGO INSIGHT, UNIGYR INSIGHT) CM2N8915en Building Technologies Building Automation

3 New key functions Browse forward and backward among operating and overview pages If a user is not authorized for certain pages, they are skipped or not displayed No line may be selected in operating pages, ie no value may be flashing! Note: Provided access is available, the operating pages also allow for browsing service and diagnostic pages Simultaneous operation of both keys results in cyclical switching back and forth between: Operating page > Overview operating pages > Overview process units > Settings > Operating page > The line key allows for selecting a page or unit on the overview pages, and the desired function on the Settings page Settings Service page for language Code page user pages The following functions are available as part of the settings: 0: German 1: English 0: 850 (Western Europe) 1: 852 (Eastern Europe) 2: 866 (Russia) Access with closed front cover (Password protected) 0: Read access only if cover is closed (exception: page 0 of own unit) 1: Read/write access to all pages for all units with closed cover Access to service pages (Password-protected / 30 min inactivity timeout) 0: Service pages neither read nor write accessible 1: Service pages read/write access Access to user pages Change password Brightness Delete texts Test pattern (Password-protected / 5 min inactivity timeout) 0: Pages with names beginning with "!" are neither read nor write accessible 1: Pages with names beginning with "!" are read/write accessible Change the password when changing the settings Increase or decrease the display's brightness Delete the page texts for all units on the BLN from the LCD cassette's cache Changing pattern display to diagnose the display 3/6

4 Type summary Process units UNIGYR process units PR/B are delivered with blind cassette Unit Type Document Universal process unit without P-bus PRV200/B 8212 Universal process unit for max 32 load units PRV232/B 8212 Universal process unit for max 64 load units PRV264/B 8212 Universal process unit for max 128 load units PRV2128/B 8212 Universal process unit with P-bus etc PRU1064/B 8211 Standard process unit PRS1082/B 8226 Cassettes An additional operating cassette must be ordered for each basic unit delivered for operation For existing units that do not require operation in the future, a blind cassette can be ordered under a separate ASN: Cassette Type Document LCD front cassette PAF112/L 8915 Operating booklet front cassette PAF112/P 8915 Blind cassette PAF112/B 8915 Note Compatibility The existing program modules PAA for process units PRU1064 and PRS1082 do not have enough memory for the extended firmware version 758 For this reason, program card PAA must be used with these units from firmware version 758 If a process unit with LCD operation is used on a BLN bus, all other units must meet the following requirements: PRU1 units must have firmware version 450 or 454 PRU2, PRU1064 and PRS1082 must have firmware version V6 or V7 Older units must first be updated Notes Mounting notes When mounting the cassettes, we differentiate between a new and an earlier supplied process unit The new unit comes with a blind cassette Each of the three cassettes comes with mounting instructions These provide detailed instructions for both cases Engineering notes Special processes are necessary when using a unit with LCD cassette to engineer all units on the BLN bus: The following option must be selected when generating the code: Save user POP card texts The following value must be set sufficiently high (eg 99): Number of POP cards with all texts Refer to the service and diagnostic manual for more information on engineering 4/6
