1 LCOS Projector WUX500. Main Features - Features newly developed iage engine, with renewed iage processing algorith The WUX500 is a follow-up odel to the WUX450 series. It is a copact installation odel featuring high resolution, high luinance, and high contrast. Its size akes it easy to carry, and it will be able to output the axiu luinance aong the WUXGA odels equipped with an integrated projection lens. -2 Leading the industry with the highest level iage quality The high-perforance AISYS optical syste and iage processor are inherited fro the WUX450. Superb optical technology and iage processing technology provide high-quality iage projections. Moreover, the firware has been odified to expand the way in which soe of the functions can be used, such as enabling corner adjustent during edge blending. -3 Highly durable optical syste As one of the ethods to achieve durability, the WUX500 uses durable optical parts proven in the WUX6000. Starting fro the reliable, new LCOS panel, the WUX500 eploys a polarization conversion eleent whose waveplate is ade of inorganic aterial and an optical construction that does not include plastic polarizing plate to provide high luinance and long-ter reliability. -4.8x F2.8 projection lens & lens shift function The incorporation of a high-agnification.8x zoo projection lens and a lens shift echanis gives greater freedo in the installation position. In addition, since the projection lens is designed so that the f-nuber is constant at 2.8 over the entire zoo region, there is little fluctuation in the iage brightness even if the zoo position is changed. This is a key point in differentiating this product fro the products of copetitors. -5 HDBaseT input The WUX500 will feature the first HDBaseT reception function. HDBaseT is a standard for transitting iage, audio, and control signals over long distances. Cabling can span up to 00 eters (*), which greatly iproves convenience in syste configuration. *: HDBaseT uses CAT5e or better STP cables as specified by the Telecounications Industry Association (TIA) of U.S. The length includes patch cables and connectors. However, depending on the cable type and installation conditions, it ay not be possible to achieve the perforance at the required distance. -6 Wi-Fi function In addition to wired LAN, a Wi-Fi function has been added to support wireless LAN connection. This akes it possible to input iage and audio signals wirelessly fro a PC. (The NMPJ function ust be used to transfer data regardless of whether the connection is wired or wireless.) -7 Advanced USB presentation function The USB presentation function, which projects iages without a PC connection, has been iproved. The projector operability has been expanded with thubnail-display, aniation-display, and ulti-lingual capabilities. -8 PC-free ulti projection Edge blending, which is used to project large iages fro ultiple projectors, is possible without a PC. When data is input fro a USB device to a single projector, the data is projected as a single picture fro ultiple projectors (up to nine projectors). (/8)

3 2-2. Iage Size and Projection distance This product is suited to project pictures in size of 40 to 300 inches. Projection distance to the corresponding picture size is as follows. 4 2-3. Lens shift function and iage position This product has a lens shift function (anual) that can ove the iage position vertically and horizontally. The followings are the lens shift specifications of the WUX500. 5 2-4. Adjustable feet Adjustable feet The ain unit has two adjustent feet on the projection lens side of the botto. Adjust these lengths to lift up the lens side of the projector so that the projection angle can be adjusted. The length is adjusted by rotation the feet. Rotation This product allows an elevation up to 6 degrees between the projection optical axis and the installation table.
