Robbins is an attorney licensed to practice before the Bars of Colorado and California. He has lived in and practiced law in Eagle County since His practice emphasizes civil litigation, family and domestic law, real estate and development, and business transactions. He is Peer Rated and has been recognized as a Fellow of the Colorado Bar Foundation. Mr. Robbins earned separate Bachelor of Arts degrees in biology (emphasis in genetics), psychology, and sociology from San Diego State University. All degrees were earned magna cum laude and he was awarded membership in Phi Kappa Phi (Interdisciplinary Honor Society), Psi Chi (Psychology Honor Society) and Alpha Kappa Delta (Sociology Honor Society). He spent 5 years in graduate research and study in the areas of genetics, human physiology, and marine biology before entering the University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. Robbins earned his law degree cum laude, graduated in the top 6% of his class, and was a member of the San Diego Law Review. Rohn was a 14-year member of the Colorado State Bar Ethics Committee, and is a former board member of the Mountain Region of the Anti Defamation League. He is the founder and Chair of the Vail Valley Charitable Fund which has been recognized on multiple occasions as the outstanding non-profit organization in Eagle County. He is a founding member and Secretary of the Freedom Park Memorial Committee and is a member of the Advisory Council for the Vail Symposium for whom he moderates a variety of programs. In 1998, he was named as one of the Plum 98, recognizing the 98 most influential persons in Eagle County. Mr. Robbins has authored a weekly legal column, Vail Law, since 1996 and has hosted a weekly radio/television talk show, Community Focus with Rohn Robbins, since He has appeared as a commentator on several national broadcasts, including FOX, CNN, ESPN, CBS, C-Span, and MSNBC. He has been quoted widely on legal matters in various regional and national periodicals. Rohn has lectured extensively for continuing legal education for lawyers in the areas of real estate, development, and legal ethics. He has also moderated numerous political debates and forums and was a guest narrator with the United States Air Force Band. He has served as a delegate to state-wide political conventions and has served as an advisor to various governmental organizations. He has been the stadium announcer for Battle Mountain High School football since Mr. Robbins is married and has one college-age son and one in law school. His recreational passions include skiing, biking, weight training, travel, and reading.
