5 EXTERIOR DESIGN The Yeti model is a successful representative of ŠKODA in the compact SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) class. And as such it offers both functional features typical for this segment and unique lines and details defined by the ŠKODA design language. While the Yeti version with exterior elements in the body paint colour will captivate you with its urban style, Yeti Outdoor version instantly announces its adventurous intentions. The front as a whole gives a robust impression and evokes a safe feeling. The individual elements then declare its belonging to the ŠKODA family, for example the distinctive front grille, sharply cut front headlamps and fog lamps or the ŠKODA logo dominating the bonnet. The higher 5-door body structure with vertical hatchback is typical for SUVs, as is the higher ground clearance to overcome challenging terrain. The car's character is accentuated by angular wheel arches. Another effective yet practical feature are the SunSet tinted windows in the rear. The urban elegance of the Yeti version can be further highlighted by the 17" Scudo alloy wheels (on the photo). 9

6 The electrically-adjustable panoramic roof window, which allows you to create a large open space above the front seats, will enhance the attractiveness of the car and will bring more riding enjoyment to the whole crew. Black protective side door strips and door sills, bumpers with black lower parts and attractive alloy wheels are the features that emphasise the individuality of the Yeti Outdoor version (pictured are 17" Matterhorn alloy wheels). The confident expression of the car is enhanced by Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights. The shape and location of the fog lamps, which are available with the corner function, reflect the design language of ŠKODA. The Yeti Outdoor version features massive vertical fins on the air intake opening on the front bumper. In the rear you will discover many elements that are typical for the ŠKODA make: the logo, ŠKODA lettering, model name, triangular recesses defining the space for the number plate, etc. The rear lights, with double C-shaped illumination, can be equipped with LEDs. The massive rear bumper and noticeable silver protective cover feature the Yeti Outdoor version. 11

8 INTERIOR DESIGN Spaciousness, variability, quality materials and excellent craftsmanship are all characteristics you will appreciate both in a city jungle and in the wild. Thoughtful application of ergonomics, typical for ŠKODA, ensures natural control of the car and its functions. The feeling of security behind the steering wheel is further increased by a perfect view from the car, thanks to a higher seat position. On an exciting journey in pursuit of new experiences, the electrically-adjustable panoramic roof window gives you the feeling of unlimited space and freedom. The front part of the sunroof can be tilted up and slid backwards. The rear part is firmly built into the roof. The tinted glass, of which both parts are made, has lower light transmission and thermal permeability, so it helps create an optimum climate and comfort inside the car. If needed, you can cover the entire sunroof with an electrically-adjustable roll cover. 15

10 ASSISTANT SYSTEMS Whether on your daily drive to work or on an adventurous trip, the Yeti model provides you with maximum safety. The car features excellent road holding, which is also credited to ESC (Electronic Stability Control). This system, including a number of functions, increases control of the car in extreme situations. Your safety, mainly during long-distance travel, is ensured by the Driver Alert and, during a parking procedure, you will appreciate parking systems. Using sensors in front and rear bumpers, the Park Distance Control activates an audible signal based on the assumed directional movement of the car for any relevant obstacles, so that it does not unnecessarily warn you about front placed obstacles when the reverse gear is shifted. The Driver Alert evaluates data from the power steering sensors at speeds above 65 km/h. When the system detects behaviour indicating that the driver might be tired, such as more intensive driving direction corrections with the steering wheel, it recommends taking a break. The Park Assist is a great helper. It will select an appropriate parking place, park in a row of parallel or perpendicular parked vehicles, and can even drive out of a row of parallel parked vehicles. In the case of parallel parking, it only needs a space 60 cm longer than the car itself. The rear-view camera can be located on the 5th door handle. It monitors the space behind the car and indicates the driving lanes, based on the vehicle width. This assistant system is always supplied with parking sensors (Park Distance Control) and a radio or a navigation system, which shows your progress during parking on the display. 19

11 PASSIVE SAFETY In extreme situations, where the driver cannot actively influence the outcome, the car s passive safety elements take over. Like the airbags. You can equip your car with up to nine of them. The third headrest in the rear is height adjustable and increases the safety of the passenger in the middle seat. The driver knee airbag prevents contact with the lower part of the dashboard in the event of a collision. While the driver airbag is hidden in the steering wheel, the passenger airbag is located in the dashboard. If needed, it can be deactivated so that you can fit a child seat in the front seat. The head airbags, which create a wall along the side windows when activated, protect passengers heads in the front and rear. The front and rear side airbags protect the pelvis and chest of the driver and other passengers in the event of a side collision. 21

13 INFOTAINMENT Our radio and navigation systems perform many tasks, such as bringing entertainment, enabling safe phone calls and supplying critical information like traffic updates during the drive. These multi-functional systems can further be equipped according to your specific needs. The car also enables you to connect your external devices. The Swing radio with a 5" colour touch-screen display comes with a USB/Aux-in connection, SD card slot and four 20W speakers. Bluetooth and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) come as optional. The device can even be used to control the car menu. The top Bolero radio with a 6.5" colour touch-screen display offers, in addition to the same features as the Swing radio, Bluetooth and four speakers in the rear. SmartLink system and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) come as optional. With the SmartLink system (ŠKODA Connectivity bundle supporting MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay* and Android Auto*), the radio enables the driver to safely use the phone while driving. Advanced technology is behind both the driver's sophisticated systems as well as features enhancing the comfort of the whole crew. Higher comfort doesn t only mean a more enjoyable drive but also a safer one. The integrated telescopic headlamp washers keep the headlamps perfectly clean. Climatronic, dual-zone air conditioning with electronic regulation and automatic air circulation, gives you the option of setting a different temperature for the left and right sides of the interior. The electrically-adjustable driver seat is equipped with memory, which can store three different positions of the seat and the external side-view mirrors. The leather multifunctional steering wheel with chrome elements enhances your joy of driving the car. The top offer includes a 3-spoke sports steering wheel in perforated leather with controls for the radio, phone and the automatic DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox). The KESSY system (Keyless Entry, Start and exit System) enables you to use the car without a key. To switch the engine on and off you simply use the Start/Stop button. The illumination of the entry area by Boarding Spots, integrated into the external side-view mirrors, enables you to safely enter and exit the car even in complete darkness. 16 ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS The engine you choose will give your car a specific character. So it s up to you to fulfil your wishes and expectations. Remember, that the offer of engines can depend on the car version (Yeti or Yeti Outdoor), the equipment level and the front or 4-wheel drive. The automatic DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) creates excellent acceleration while keeping the engine in an optimum state. With economical driving, fuel consumption is kept low. Based on the specific engine, we offer you a 7-speed or a 6-speed version. Drivers who prefer manual gear shift may choose an engine with 5-speed or 6-speed manual transmission. Both options offer precise and easy gear shifting with short gear lever throw. All petrol engines feature TSI technology, which gives them a dynamic character. Our offer includes 81kW, 92kW and 110kW engines. The diesel engines with 81kW or 110kW performance guarantee smooth running at exceptionally low fuel consumption. 31

17 YETI 4X4 With the 4x4 drive you will discover unexpected possibilities. If you choose the 4x4 drive in combination with the off-road system, you can easily negotiate difficult terrain and always completely rely on the vehicle. The off-road option includes a number of functions such as a hill descent assistant, the adaptation of the electronic systems (ABS, ASR and EDS)* to the driving conditions and a more sensitive accelerator pedal configuration. Automatic 6-speed DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) and the 4x4 drive present the perfect match that guarantees an extraordinary driving experience. The 4x4 drive is provided by an inter-axle, electronically-controlled, multi-plate clutch. 19 INTERIOR STORAGE Storage compartments significantly increase the practicality of the car. Namely, they simply multiply its transport options, help keep the car tidy, and make travelling more pleasant for all passengers. When the waste basket is full, it can be easily removed and emptied. It can be inserted into the storage compartments in both the front and rear doors. The storage compartments in both front doors can hold a 1-litre bottle. A special pocket for a reflective vest is located under the driver s seat, ensuring it s immediately within reach if you need it. The eyeglasses compartment is located in the roof panel above the interior rear-view mirror, so the driver always has his sunglasses or driving spectacles within reach. Closer inspection reveals many storage spaces and compartments because the entire concept of the interior is Simply Clever. Everything you need has its place in the interior, including keys, mobile phones, glasses, parking tickets, maps, refreshments and any other necessities that you carry in your car. And, most importantly, you always know where to find them. External appliances can be transported safely in the multimedia bracket located in the dual drinks holder on the centre console. Rear seat passengers will appreciate foldable tables with drink holders, built into the backrests of both front seats, which of course can be used for more than just refreshments. 37

20 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT The luggage compartment capacity makes the Yeti model the perfect partner for an active lifestyle. In addition, we offer a range of Simply Clever details and solutions, which you can choose according to your specific needs. The foldable backrest of the front passenger seat gives the car even greater variability and allows you to transport objects with extraordinary dimensions. The double floor provides you with a hidden storage compartment. Simultaneously, it facilitates handling luggage by bringing the floor of the luggage compartment closer to the loading edge. The net programme, which reliably prevents things from shifting, offers several layout options. You can use the double-sided carpet with the textile side up if you are not carrying anything that could dirty the car. When needed, simply turn it over with the washable rubber side up (on the photo). The removable Unibag, which is designed for transporting skis or snowboards, can be easily pushed through the opening between the luggage compartment and the passenger compartment. The removable LED flashlight can come in handy when driving at night and during other circumstances. When clipped in, it automatically recharges while the engine is running. 39

21 VARIOFLEX The VarioFlex rear seating system, which comes as standard equipment in both versions of the car, allows you to customise the interior according to your current situation and needs. The system consists of three independently adjustable rear seats. The operation can easily be performed by a single person and without the need for any tools. By removing the seats you gain a luggage area with a capacity of 1,760 litres. If you need to maintain rear seating for passengers, you can fold down only one or two backrests. To enlarge the luggage area, you can tilt whole rear seats towards the front seats. Another useful option is removing one or two rear seats completely, so you gain a large luggage area while still carrying passengers in the rear. The backrests of the rear seats may be completely folded down towards the sitting sections. 41

The car features black exterior elements, which give it a unique style and a ferocious expression, such as the external side-view mirrors, front grille frame, front fog lamps, front bumper spoiler and plastic door sill covers. The distinct style is underlined by the 17" Origami alloy wheels with a polished surface in a Monte Carlo design. The sports 3-spoke steering wheel in black perforated leather is also decorated with red stitching. The interior features sports seat upholstery in a combination of red, black and grey.
