2 Summary A is a web page (HTML/DHTML) that takes advantage of the multiuser communication functionality provided by Windows Live Messenger. This means it can be simultaneously accessed by two or more users. Admotion allows this social and viral feature on any ad format. The creative piece linked with a Windows Live Messenger Activity must include the necessary code to launch it. The functionality consists of two instances: Launcher Creativity The piece should meet the ad format specification. It must include the following line: #include "msnactapi.as" It must include a button with the following code: callwidget("variable", "value"); Where "variable" and "value" figures the data set that will be sent to the Activity application. These parameters are optional and can be sent up to five per creative. The variables names and the variables values have a maximum of 80 characters. Dimensions: 480px (w) 480px (h) Format: HTML/DHTML The document body must not have margins (equals to zero) in order to engage the entire available area

3 How it works 1. Launcher Creativity: The final user optionally fills the variable fields and clicks on the button which contains the launching code. (Figure 1) 2. 7 Activity interaction tracking (POI) Admotion JavaScript API for Windows Live Messenger Activity also allows tracking any point of interaction (POI) in the activity. Each POI has a unique identifier which is sent as a parameter to the tracking method.
