ING Vysya Bank Forex Travel Card is a pre-paid foreign currency card that offers you a safe, secure and convenient way to meet all expenses for your travel overseas. You can load this card with foreign currency in India and use it to shop, dine, travel, pay hotel bills across 14 million Visa merchant outlets free of charge and withdraw cash from 1.6 million Visa/Plus ATM s across 200 countries worldwide with a charge. What currencies is ING Forex Travel Card available in? ING Forex Travel Card is available in 4 currencies - US Dollar, Sterling Pound, Euro and Australian Dollar. Do I need to have an ING Vysya bank account to purchase the ING Forex Travel Card.? You don t need to have an account with ING Vysya Bank to purchase ING Forex Travel Card. The usage of your ING Forex Travel card should be in strict accordance with the regulations of the Reserve Bank of India and FEMA regulations. The amount loaded or reloaded on a card should be done as per the foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 and prevailing RBI regulations in force at present. 4 What options should I choose to withdraw cash from the ATM? At the time of Cash withdrawal across Visa/Plus ATM s abroad, the screen will display 3 options for the type of accounts that you can carry out transactions in: 1. Credit 2. Savings 3. Checking Please choose the Credit option for transaction to be successful or if this option is not available then only choose the checking option. What to do if I forget my ATM pin? Please call our 24/7 customer service number and request for reissue of ATM pin. We will send the ATM pin at the address provided at the time of activation of the card. How should I use the ING Forex Travel Card at merchant establishments? Be smart and use your ING Forex Travel Card for all your shopping, hotel bills, car rental, across restaurants, fees and for other travel expenses absolutely free of any charge. Please note: 1. Always look for VISA sign at the Point-Of-Sale merchant establishment. The merchant must have an electronic point of sale card swiping terminal. Any usage of the card other than electronic use will be deemed unauthorized and you will be solely responsible for such transactions. 2. Present your ING Forex Travel Card only at the time of making payment for your purchases. 3. The merchant will swipe the card on an EDC terminal for authorization. 4. After successful authorization, funds in your card account will be debited for the transacted amount. 5. A sales slip will be generated. Be careful to check the amount before signing the sales slip and make sure that your signature matches as signed on back of the card. 6. Also make sure to retain a copy of the sales slip with you. Any sales slip not personally signed by you but which can be proven as being authorized by you will be deemed to your liability. 7. This completes your purchase transaction. 8. Please ensure that your card is returned to you before you leave the merchant premises.

5 What is the expiry date of the ING Forex Travel Card? ING Forex Travel Card is valid for 3 years. Upon card expiry, please cut our ING Forex Travel Card into several pieces through the magnetic strip. Please visit the nearby ING Branch for new card. What needs to be done incase Hotels/Car Rentals take a Pre-Authorization? Hotels/Car Rentals before check-in/renting services etc, take a pre-auth on your card. A Pre-Auth is essentially blocking of certain amount on your card. At the time of checking out of the hotel/settling the bill, you should: Ask the executive to settle the final bill against the pre-auth that was taken. Example: If Pre-Auth was taken for $400, and the final bill is $700, this should be settled against the pre-auth that was taken, and the balance asked to be credited back on the card. Ask the executive to cancel the pre-auth (credit back the amount) that was taken and settle the bill by taking an authorization for the actual bill amount. Yes, please login to to temporary lock your ING Forex Travel Card. How do I track my transactions from wherever I am in the world? Please login to to track all your transactions while traveling from anywhere in the world. If the merchant says that the card is not working, what is to be done? Please check with merchant to ensure that he has swiped the card properly and on a Credit Card terminal. If he acknowledges doing same and the card still does not work, please look for an ATM to withdraw minimal cash as per your requirement as withdrawing cash comes with a charge and its risky to carry cash.. What forex rates are charged at the time of purchase? Forex rate are charged of the day, time the card is purchased from ING Bank Branch. The forex rates are similar to the rates charged for Travelers Cheque. What exchange rates are applied when a transaction is made on the card? If the transaction is done in base currency (currency in which the card is purchased), there is no exchange rate applicable. However, for transactions done in currency other base currency, exchange rates / conversion rates from the base currency to the local currency are applicable in accordance with fine rates applied by Visa. Currency conversion is done automatically in an international online environment by VISA. We as a bank do not have any role in the currency conversion. There is only a mark-up of 3% done by VISA on our behalf for currency conversion transactions. The rates used by VISA are fine and is globally accepted by all banks. Can I retain the foreign exchange on the ING Forex Travel Card after returning to India? One can retain the card only if the balance on the card is less than $2000. Else the amount needs to be refunded within 90 days from the date of arrival*. In case refund is not made on time, the card would be suspended and the card holder can face legal action. *As per RBI regulations.

7 How can I confirm if my card has been activated/ reloaded? You would receive an SMS and confirmation as soon as your card is loaded / reloaded. You can also check your balance on our website using the login id and password provided for internet banking. Are there any charges for using a VISA ATM? As given in charge fee grid, no ATM transaction comes free. There is a transaction fee levied for using ATMs for cash withdrawal & Balance Inquiry. Thus limit use of your card on ATM and use on POS to avoid deduction of any charges Will the ATM display foreign exchange rates that one can use before withdrawing cash? No ATM will not display at foreign exchange rates. Post withdrawal of cash, with figure for amount withdrawn and balance available in card, it is possible to arrive at the exchange rate charged. As a cardholder you can also access Visa's Global Customer Assistance Service (GCAS), to report a lost or stolen card, get emergency cash assistance or an emergency card replacement, and make inquiries*. The Card can be encashed only after your return to India. Furthermore, the last transaction done on the card should be more than 10 days prior to the date of encashment. For refund of the residual or unutilized balances you can approach any of ING listed branches irrespective of where the card was issued. You need to complete the refund form and submit a copy of your passport along with the form. At what rate can I get my funds refunded? The funds would be credited to you at the ongoing rate of the day when you apply for the refund at the branch.
