Trainer, Trevor Thompson was fined the sum of $200 acting under GAR 39 (3). When assessing penalty stewards were mindful that Mr Thompson had previously offended under this rule. Racing in to the first turn, KINGSBRAE NELLY (4) came together with SHANIA SIND (5). Racing around the bend, HARRY HUCKLEBUCK (3) checked off the heels of KAWASAKI NINJA (8). 5 RACE 8 UNIBET STAYERS STAKES 5 TH GRD 620M TROPICAL SANDS (1) came together with MATILDA S DREAM (3) shortly after the start. PRICE RISE (8) looked to shift out around the catching pen. Turning in to the home straight, TROPICALS SANDS (1) and CELTIC COLLEEN (4) came together. Stewards spoke with connections for PRICE RISE (8) and advised that future runs would be monitored around the catching pen in particular. MATILDA S DREAM (3) finished a distant last and was never in the running. A Veterinary examination of MATILDA S DREAM (3) revealed no injury. Stewards spoke with connections of MATILDA S DREAM (3) regarding the greyhounds actions throughout the race. After consideration Stewards decided to issue the greyhound MATILDA S DREAM with an endorsement for Failing to Pursue the Lure in accordance with GAR 69 (1)(a). As this is the greyhound s 1 st Offence it is suspended from racing for a period of 28 days at Casino and until the completion of a Satisfactory Trial. Racing in to the first turn, NO REAL SURPRISE (4) galloped across the heels of CALL ME DAWN (7), shifting wide and having to ease to avoid the outside fence. Racing around the bend, LOVES A ROSE (9) shifted in and became entangled with FIREFLY DING (3). Racing in to the home straight, SOUTHERN FLOSS (6) snuck out, checking PAY DA BAND (2) lightly. A Veterinary examination of NO REAL SURPRISE (4) revealed an injured offside shoulder. An Incapacitation Certificate was issued for a period of 14 days. 6 RACE 10 DON WALDRON ANNIVERSARY TROPHY 1-4 WIN HT6 4/5 TH GRD 484M ZMARZLIK (1) was fractionally slow to begin. CRANKSHAFT (5) came together with HEIDI LYNDAN (4) out of the boxes. Racing to the first turn, CRANKSHAFT (5) came together with HEIDI LYNDAN (4) and MONSOON MAM (3). Racing around the first turn, HEIDI LYNDAN (4) shifted out bumping CRANKSHAFT (5). MONSOON MAM (3) checked off the heels of ZMARZLIK (1) racing in the back straight. Approaching the turn out of the back straight, TICKET BOY (2) checked off the heels of CRANKSHAFT (5) losing momentum before hampering ZMARZLIK (1). ZMARZLIK (1) came together with PRINCESS CANUTE (8) turning in to the home straight.
