Researchers and MSCA Research Experience Mobility rule Early Stage Researchers ESR: in their first 4 years of FTE research experience, no PhD at the time of recruitment (ITN) Experienced Researchers ER: be in the possession of a doctoral degree or have at least 4 years of FTE research experience at the deadline of submission (IF) Must not have resided or carried out his/her main activity in the country of the host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to deadline of submission (IF) or prior to the time of recruitment (ITN) IF exceptions No mobility rule in RISE 12

MSCA IF: Objectives and modes Enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers by providing them with opportunities to acquire new knowledge, work on research projects in a European context or outside Europe Special eligibility conditions for those resuming a career, returning to Europe, moving sector NEW 2016 Society and Entreprise (SE) Panel For fellows coming to or moving within Europe (Duration: months) For fellows from Europe going to Third countries and returning (Duration: 12 to 24 TC + 12 return to Europe) 17

European Fellowships IF - EF CAREER RESTART PANEL (CAR) Researchers who want to resume research in Europe after a break in research Multidisciplinary Panel ER of any nationality, host institution located in MS / AC. Break in research: not active in research for at least 12 months prior to the deadline of submission Duration of the project: months STANDARD EUROPEAN FELLOWSHIP ER of any nationality Mobility from any country to the MS / AC where the host institution is located Mobility rule. Duration of the project: months Any researcher: ST CAR - SE Specific mobility rule applies to CAR, RI and SE REINTEGRATION PANEL (RI) Support to researchers who want to return and reintegrate in a longer term research position in Europe Multidisciplinary Panel Mobility from a Third Country to a MS / AC ER: nationals or long-term residents of a MS / AC Duration of the project: months SOCIETY AND ENTERPRISE PANEL (SE): Research and innovation projects in non-academic sector Facilitating career moves between the academic and nonacademic sector Only competition wiht other projects in non-academic sector (10 M for 2016) 18
