17 Outcomes Preliminary outcomes - Professional Development( PD ) Survey Most PD delivered at the jurisdiction level with all RN s together (18/20) Almost all received disease specific PD (95) PD regarding meeting needs of kids with CC (85) General nursing concept for students with special needs (70) 10 percent: electronically track nurse participation in PD 29 percent: electronically track non-nurse staff participation in PD 61 percent: electronically track students with CC
18 Lessons Learned IRB process can take a while...plan in advance Interesting dynamic between the education system and the health system There is a lot going on and a lot of work that goes into implementing changes in school health
