SAMPLE SCREENSHOTS 10
PRELIMINARY FINDINGS Improvement in prac>ce I cannot compare myself to those days that we used to things manually. Now that I am using this tool, I can say that I have really advanced when it comes to child assessments and doing other community work because it has give me the opportunity to do things digitally; to make things more easier... (CHW) I call them also to the office where we discus with then and I find that through that a lot of learning has taken place and as I have put it before this people have more confidence and you see once one has the confidence then you expect the output to be very high. (Supervisor) 11
PRELIMINARY FINDINGS Improved monitoring and supervision of CHWs...Yes it has really improved how we can monitor the CHVs and it has really helped us to know whether they are really doing what they are supposed to do or not... (Supervisor)...You can always track a child and whatever the conversanon they have been having with CHWs through the system... (Supervisor) 12
PRELIMINARY FINDINGS Increased awareness at household level on importance of child development monitoring...we have also injected something into the parents... they are going to be monitors of their children because they would know at this age my child should be able to do this and if they are not able definitely an alarm will be raised. Awareness is being created... (CHW)...They feel like we are imparnng them with more knowledge on child development and making them to be aware of any kind of changes they nonce in their children and when to take acnon and where to seek help from... (CHW) 13
SUSTAINABILITY Partnership with Ministry of Health Unit of Community Health Services Unit of neonatal, child and adolescent health. Embedding the applica?ons into exis?ng primary health structures. 14
YOUR THOUGHTS Technology: Mobile solu?ons via Low- end phones versus smartphone use in the next 5 years What opportuni?es do you see in your context for the referral app? What can we learn from you? 15
