4 INVESTMENT HIGHLIGHTS Business combination transaction with TransAfrika Belgique concluded Increasing stock liquidity planned. Management team has extensive experience in both operations and capital markets. The Byumba Project in Rwanda has an initial inferred resource of 5.5 million tonnes grading 1.48 g/t Au. A National Instrument ("NI ") report has confirmed a oz Au inferred resource at the Byumba Project. Drilling to increase the resource is ongoing and successful. The Mali concessions cover 305 sq. kilometers. Fifteen drill targets identified on the famous Senegal Mali Fault Zone. Seven discovered gold occurrences highlighted by drill results ranging from 4m at 9.31 g/t Au to 18m at 1.26 g/t Au. One new permit obtained in the Yanfolila Gold Belt. Extensive artisanal workings on all permits. Exploration expenditure of USD 16.5 million to date, which includes exploration expenditures incurred on subsidiary companies in Rwanda, Mali and Senegal. Approximately USD 5.5 million of this has been spent on drilling and assays. Nevada JV property with Kinross Gold Corp has 33 confirmed high-grade drill holes and the drill program carried out in 2008 has confirmed a key high-grade fault zone for 563/548m and a NI inferred resource of 556,700 Au oz. 4

6 TRANSACTION CONCLUDED Desert Gold has acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of TransAfrika Belgique (the vendor ) in exchange for the issuance of common shares of Desert Gold. Desert Gold will be required to issue a further common shares, in aggregate, to the vendor and its nominees, in the event that within a two year period from the closing of the proposed acquisition, Desert Gold publishes a NI compliant resource calculation disclosing that the mineral properties located in Rwanda, Mali and Senegal, which were acquired from TransAfrika pursuant to the implementation of the afore mentioned transaction, contain an additional ounces of gold. The acquisition was subject to the completion of a brokered private placement financing that would result in Desert Gold having at least CDN 5Million in available cash upon closing. This was completed in October Finance to fund the Mali program is currently being sought. The financing was completed at an issue price of CDN Each unit consists of one common share of the Company and one-half of one common share purchase warrant of the Company. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a purchase price of CDN 1.00 per share for a period of 24 months after completion of the proposed acquisition. 6

8 EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT & DIRECTORS Ayub Khan Non-executive Chairman Ayub Khan was appointed to the board of directors of Desert Gold Ventures Inc., on Jan. 9, Mr. Khan brings over 20 years of experience in operations, public markets and finance to Desert Gold. Over the last 20 years he has been involved in acquiring, restructuring and financing public companies. His experience in public markets includes acquisitions of companies in Europe and South America. Mr. Khan is a professional Asset Manager currently based in Geneva, Switzerland. Roeland van Kerckhoven Chief Executive Officer & Director Roeland, former Anglo Platinum executive director of finance and business development, spent more than 30 years of his career with the Anglo American group of companies, 15 of which were with Anglo Platinum Limited where he was a director until March At various times during his career as director he also headed the,exploration, legal, corporate finance, investor relations and corporate communications portfolios. Roeland was recruited to TransAfrika resources by Loucas Pouroulis to head the African exploration company of the Pouroulis Group. Since joining TransAfrika, he has been actively involved in negotiations with African governments and potential joint venture partners. Louw van Schalkwyk VP Exploration & Director Louw obtained a BSc Geology (Hons) degree from the University of Stellenbosch in He joined Gold Fields of South Africa Limited and was promoted to senior geologist. In 1992 he moved to consulting and contracting geology, working on gold exploration for various major and junior exploration and mining companies in sub-saharan Africa. These included Rio Tinto Plc, Anglo American, Iscor Limited, Pangea Minerals Ltd and Casmyn Mining Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania and Uganda. His ability to integrate geology with applied exploration techniques led to his discovery of the Gams East Zinc orebody. Theo Christodoulou Director Theo Christodoulou obtained a MBA from Duke University and is a Chartered Accountant. Mr. Christodoulou worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers for nearly 5 years, after which he joined Deutsche Bank He worked for the bank for 11 years which included 5 years as Director (and head of Metals and Mining in South Africa). Theo then founded the corporate finance company, AC Squared Solutions in Theo has extensive experience in advising on mining initiatives, project finance 8 planning and management, M&A, IPO's and BEE structuring across Africa

Director Mr. Tough joined the board of Desert Gold Ventures in He has more than 40 years experience as a self-employed consulting Professional Engineer in 40 different countries, in both the western and eastern hemispheres. In the course of his career he has been involved in many capacities of the mining industry. He has held numerous directorships and officer positions in public and private companies, including the role of President, CEO and Director of Desert Sun Mining Corp. for 18 years. In April 2006, Yamana Gold Inc. purchased the Company and its producing gold mine in Brazil. In 2003 Mr. Tough also joined the boards of TSX listed Potash One Inc and TSX.V listed Maxtech Ventures Inc., where he still serves as President & CEO. He is past President and CEO of Potash One Inc., and continues to serve as a director. Since 2008 he has served on the board of Aroway Minerals Inc. and in 2010 he became President, CEO and a director of Firebird Resources Inc., both listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia and holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia. Jared Scharf Chief Financial Officer Mr. Scharf has been serving as CFO of Desert Gold since Mr. Scharf s background is in merchant banking and management consulting. Mr. Scharf is also a senior partner of a Swiss based asset management firm. Over the last 6 years Mr. Scharf has focused much of his time on the acquisition and development of mining and alternative energy projects in Africa and North and Central America. Mr. Scharf holds an Honors Commerce degree in Finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa as well as a Bachelors of Administration also from the University of Ottawa. Mr. Scharf is a Director of EasyMed Services Inc., a Canadian healthcare technology company. Sonny Janda Director Mr. Janda joined the board of Desert Gold Ventures in He is the President & CEO of Grand Peak Capital Corp., a TSX.V (GPK) listed company that invests in public and private corporations. He also serves on the board of Maxtech Ventures Inc. (TSX.V:DAU), Lucky Minerals Inc (TSX.V:LJ) and on the board of CNSX listed EasyMed Services Inc.
