Initially: Police and security services Emergency services Fleet vehicle tracking Network timing providers Civilian UAVs In the medium term: Civil aviation, rail, and maritime Ultimately: Commercial sat-nav? Smart phones? Can I buy one? Possibly. We are currently undertaking a grading process, and customers currently need approval on a case-by-case basis

12 12 The Low-Cost Answer: micro For simply finding GNSS jammers, the full LOCATE suite is probably overkill. LOCATE Micro fuses live video imagery with super-resolution direction finding. 13 13 Closing Remarks GNSS is vulnerable on its own, but it can be protected Adaptive antennas can protect against jammers, and also protect against almost all types of spoofing attack High-performance direction-finding allows for accurate geolocation of multiple jammers Protection technology, previously only available to the military, is becoming available to the civilian market The UK is very well informed, and has a world-leading sovereign capability in GPS and GNSS protection Thank You
